Tandoori Tonight: A Flavorful Delight!

I ordered dinner from Tandoori Tonight yesterday, and I couldn’t have been more impressed! From the food to the service, everything exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

I went with the butter chicken, vegetarian thali, mixed appetizers, and extra roti. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The butter chicken was especially a standout – tender pieces of meat (nothing like the random, unappetizing bits you sometimes get at other places). The sauce was rich and perfectly spiced, making it a real treat.

The vegetarian thali was an excellent choice too, offering a nice variety of dishes to sample. I loved how each item was flavorful and different, making for a fun culinary experience. The mixed appetizers, including freshly made samosas, were equally delicious – crispy and packed with flavor.

The roti was another highlight – soft, fresh, and perfectly paired with the main dishes. I was impressed by the generous portions as well!

What truly sets Tandoori Tonight apart, though, was their exceptional customer service. I made a small error while ordering online, and the restaurant actually called to clarify and ensure everything was correct. That extra effort was really appreciated.

This restaurant is okay on the rating scale. There are good and bad things that we noticed. We did dine in as were travelling back to GTA and did a pit stop here

Cons: The parking is not great as there is garbage dump next to parking and the smell the moment you get down from your car is very strong and filthy. The smell continues until the stairs of the restaurant which also has a small open trash can right at the footsteps.

Even though the restaurant was quite empty but for the food to arrive it takes 45 mins.

We ordered our food including Dal Makhni and 20 mins later we were told they are out Dal Makhni, if you don't have, it shouldn't take 20 mins to tell the customer that you don't have a dish

Pros: Our server was nice and polite and she made every effort to make us feel comfortable and listened to our requests

The food was also good, even though we weren't very hungry but we still liked the food and everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered Naan, Lacha parantha, paneer tikka masala and Allu gobhi The parantha were really good size.

I would recommend this restaurant for take out as the food is good and price wise it's...

Delicious food!

This is a small family-run business. It is popular for take-out service, and they have a few tables for dine-in service.

The staff are very friendly and courteous.

2025-10-16: Tonight, I had the Lamb Curry and Paneer Lababdar. Both dishes were very tasty. Additionally, they served complimentary Jeera Rice with each dish, because they were offering a special promotion this week.

2025-02-04: I had the Lamb Curry and Jeera Rice. The Lamb Curry was very delicious (and not oily). The serving had many lamb pieces, and the pieces were very well-trimmed (just the meat, no bones, no fat). It was the easiest Lamb Curry to eat :-)

2024-04-17: Tonight, I had the Pau Bhaji which was excellent. I also had the Malai Kofta which was also very tasty. The serving portions are very generous.

2024-04-04: I had Channa Bhatura for dine-in. The Channa was good and was a very good portion. The Bhaturas were amazing! Possibly the best Bhaturas I have had at a restaurant. The Bhaturas were fluffy, soft, thick and not oily.

I also had their Saag Paneer, which was also very good.
