Cora Breakfast and lunch — Restaurant in Bedford

I will never go to another coras again. Anywhere, ever. Pur and Simple is a MUCH better choice. MUCH. I recommend anyone reading this to go give them a try. Took my grandchildren for lunch at the Bedford location. My granddaughters meal seemed ok, my grandsons seemed ok except for his toast. The toast had a very small amount of butter in the middle of the slice only. I picked it up with my fingers, and put it INTO THE hand of the girl who served it telling her a fresh piece of toast properly buttered would be appreciated. So, she brought me back the SAME PIECE OF TOAST ,slightly mutilated with the butter now forcefully spread across it. So this is the piece she left with IN HER HAND. How epicly gross is that???? My meal, we'll that's a whole other story. Absolutely terrible. The pancakes tasted like they were taken out of the freezer and nuked, the turkey sausage was barely what I would call warm, and were so coated in oil they were slimy. I ate one of the 3 pancakes, only because I was starved. Took one bite of the sausage, and was so disgusted I couldn't stomach anymore. And the couple of pieces of fruit that was on the place was ruined by sitting under the heat lamp. The waiter was nice though, and he seemed to understand my frustration. He took mg meal completely off the bill, and only charged me for what th3 kids ate. Oh, and apparently the kitchen manager was IN today, so this all appended with their approval. Which honestly, the MANAGER let this happen? Even more gross. I'll be calling to make sure this is actually being handled correctly. Since the kitchen manager couldn't make it happen while they were apparently there managing. I changed my review rating after I called the"customer service" number. I was talked over, gas lighted and treated...

I would like to take the time to thank Cora's and especially our server at the Bedford, NS Cora's ( Debbie ).

I have been a lifelong Cora's fan always ordering the Rosemary's Sunday special. I have always loved the blueberry crepes which were discontinued in the menu a few years ago.

Many times I would still ask different Cora's restaurants if I may be able to substitute the blueberry pancakes back ti blueberry crepes, however have not had success unfortunately which is understandable.

Today I thought I may try again by just asking for a plain crepe with blueberries on the side to make something close. Debbie took the extra time to ask questions and learned of my love for Cora's Blueberry crepes. Debbie then went out of her way to ask her cook (Jeremy) if he could make the blueberry crepes today for us. This made our day and was very special.

I asked Debbie if she would mind if I could get their names and write a review. She was so thankful as I'm sure it's typically only when people are upset people take the time to write something.

I would like to thank Debbie, Jeremy and the owner, Chris for hiring amazing staff who go through extra mile to make a visit like ours today, special.

If anyone who sees this is ever in Bedford, please take the extra time and send an extra thank you to Debbie and the team on our behalf.

Justin & Chelsey Happy Cora's...

I went here looking for breakfast. I ordered bacon, eggs and sausage and requested no tomatoes on the plate. So they brought out the breakfast with fruit all over it instead. I did not request a substitute, but one can only assume they are trying to fill the plate to rationalize charging someone $30 for a breakfast plate. Ridiculous. Next gripe, half my meal was borderline cold (sausage and potatoes), the other half was fine (eggs and bacon). I can't tell you how enjoyable it is to know that half my food sat there long enough to get cold while they did lord knows what. Also, the toast that came with my meal arrived about 3 minutes after my plate. I know 3 minutes isn't long, but if you eat like I do, that's half the meal gone before the toast arrived. The coffee was awful, too. In short, I'll never go back. The service was okay, but the kitchen has no business serving food if they can't handle a simple order in a half full restaurant. the Value was terrible, too.
