Stopped in here during Burger Week to try their "Spaco" Burger. It was quite good. Spanish chorizo and fried jalepenos on the burger. Very tasty. Caesar salad was bland/typical. My issue was not so much the food but the experience. First it is a bit "different" environment. Mentally I was expecting pub of course but not the amount of video lottery terminals and off-track betting facility. Seemed a bit of a disjoint with this against the "Paint Night" that was going on for around 30-40 people. I am sure it was a good fundraiser for a charity unfortunately the loudspeakers the managers had setup pointed directly into the eating area making it extremely hard to have a normal conversation at the tables. They were also completely unprepared staffing wise for the volume of people there. It took over 20 minutes to even get a menu/waited on. I will probably give them another go for a meal at some point as it may have been a one of situation but I will not be rushing back.

I went in for a local craft beer. They had 3 from #GoodRobotBrewing. I had the lager which was pretty much like getting it from the #RobieStreet location. It wasn’t flat. It wasn’t overly carbonated either. It was #Goldilocks. I want to buy one of these glasses. I love the robot mermaids. I didn’t get food. Pro: The staff was very polite and knew what craft beers they had on tap. Con: it’s extremely dark. I was half expecting #JonTaffer to walk in. Maybe at night when they have live music and more customers it’s alright.

If you find yourself at Mill Cove Brew Pub on a Friday, make sure to try their pan-fried haddock—it's arguably one of the best dishes not just in the pub, but across Nova Scotia. The haddock is perfectly seasoned and cooked to a golden crisp, offering a light yet flavorful meal that delights the palate. The lightness of the fish paired with its savory crust makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a satisfying yet not overly heavy dish. Lauren and Tammy are amazing and friendly. Great drinks and vibes.

The food was great. We went for burger week. The reason for the 3 star review instead of five is that our waitress disappeared for awhile. We had to go to the bar for our bill. We waited around 25mins for the bill to come prior. She saw us at the bar and took out her phone and started texting. We where not happy about that. But if you want good food and don't mind waiting then check these guys out. Their burger week burger doesn't disappoint!

I ordered the veggie burger wasn't exactly what I was hoping but the Korean bbq sauce on it had a tasteful kick. Would have liked more guacamole and salsa maybe less lettuce. The spicy mayo for the fries was wicked and the Keith's draft beer tasted like it was straight from the bottle. The waiter was sharp and managed our big group with ease. 3 stars :) Maybe get rid of your fish fingers though!
