Peppercorns Eatery Bedford — Restaurant in Bedford

Ordered the meatlovers pizza and a garlic cheese bread that was recommended by staff.

Upon picking up my order I got to watch the individual in the back pull it out, fail to fit it in the box because it was slightly too large, and instead of just use a larger pizza box, they cut a half inch strip out of the center of my pizza.

Upon getting home about 5 minutes later (It was consumed almost right away) we noted that the center of the pizza was very floppy and the dough in the middle was a bit under cooked. I took a video of the dough to show the store owner such.

Upon sending the store this information today, he called and let me know that its normal for them to just remove parts of customers pizzas if they dont fit in the box, and that the clearly under cooked dough was because of their fresh mozzarella being so wet that it somehow made the pizza soggy and uncooked the dough.

Absolutely disgusting. And after reading through the lower rated reviews, the comments back suggesting the customers are wrong is just appalling.

When we received our order the first thought was well this pizza had to have been dropped, or carried like a book under the delivery drivers arm.

We ordered our pizza tonight and it was absolutely horrible. Severely undercooked (photos attached) and before you tell me that it isn’t because of the char on the crust, well ours had none.

One of the pizzas was “Fungi” which is supposed to include a medley of mushrooms. The mushrooms on the pizza were sparse and definitely one type of mushroom with quality lower than even a convenience store pizza shop. The “smoked cheddar” was BARELY even melted.

We are so disappointed in the outcome of our order and had to order food elsewhere as it was so undercooked it couldn’t even be eaten. Would...

Second time here and won’t be my last. The first time I had stopped in I had the Maple Curry Chicken Penne and it was absolutely phenomenal. The mix of countries was perfect!

This time around I tried their fried chicken sandwich. Little on the small side compared to others. But it hit the spot perfectly! The chicken was crispy but tender and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw on it was really good too.

But the star this dinner was the Potato Wedges! Holy, (expletive deleted). They are “well done” on the outside, a little dark but crispy. The inside is as if they somehow gutted it and creamed the potato before putting it back. Obviously this is not what they did, but that’s how it felt in the mouth.

I’m not sure what the dip was they provided with them, but the server said they make it in house.

I might just have to stop back in and get an order of wedges!
