Ambarsari Kulcha Blvd ā A North Indian Feast in Brampton
Our family had a heartwarming experience at Ambarsari Kulcha Blvd in Brampton. This cozy restaurant may be small in size, but it feels huge in spirit ā like dining at a friendly Punjabi dhaba. We were there for lunch and eagerly dove into their Signature Ambarsari Kulcha, a dish the menu proudly calls āa culinary masterpieceā. The kulcha arrived piping hot: a puffy flatbread stuffed with Ambarsari herbs & spices and served with rich chickpeas (chole), cool yogurt raita, tangy tamarind (imli) chutney, and crunchy pickles. Every bite was perfectly balanced ā fragrant and buttery, yet not too fiery ā just as authentic Punjabi food should be. In fact, one customer raved that ātheir dishes are a burst of flavorsā and even called the Ambarsari Lassi here āthe best Iāve ever had outside of Indiaā. Weād have to agree: the sweet lassi (a creamy yogurt drink) was thick, frothy, and subtly cardamom-flavored ā a heavenly way to round off the meal.
Service at Ambarsari Kulcha Blvd is exceptional even when theyāre busy. Our server greeted us with a warm smile and patiently answered our excited questions about the menu. The staff truly lives up to the restaurantās promise of āexceptional serviceā, and we never waited long for anything. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed: colorful posters on the wall, Bollywood tunes humming softly, and plenty of families chatting happily at nearby tables. It really felt like being invited into a Punjabi home. (A pro tip from us: book a table in advance if you can. This place fills up fast ā honestly, the aroma alone could have us making a reservation right away!)
We also tried the Signature Parantha Combo, which came with an assortment of flaky, golden-brown parathas stuffed with paneer, onion, and potato. Each parantha was crispy on the outside and soft inside ā ideal for scooping up the accompanying curry. And we felt the meal was a fantastic deal: hearty portions and top-notch ingredients at very reasonable prices. As one happy reviewer put it, the food here was āworth the priceā. In todayās times, that kind of value is hard to beat. When we left, we were full, content, and grateful for such a feast that didnāt break the bank.
All in all, Ambarsari Kulcha Blvd charmed us from start to finish. We laughed at how the fragrance of butter and spices almost pulled us away from the menu, we savored every perfectly spiced bite, and we thanked the staff for their kindness. Iāve already recommended this gem to friends and family. If you crave genuine North Indian flavors in the GTA, donāt miss this place ā youāll feel like family too, and your taste buds will thank you!
Pros: Authentic Ambarsar-style kulcha and lassi; balanced, flavorful spices; very friendly staff; cozy family vibe; great value.
Tip: Reservations are wise (the kulcha aroma is irresistible!). Come hungry and decide your favorites beforehand so you can enjoy the feast to the fullest.
Highly recommended! Thanks to the Ambarsari Kulcha Blvd team for a wonderful meal ā we canāt wait to come...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe just had Ambarsari Kulcha in this restaurant. It is THE BEST kulcha you can have if you want real amritsari taste. Me and my wife are from Amritsar and have grown up eating kulchas almost every weekend in amritsar and have tried every place in Canada in last 8 years. This place has ultimate ambience with gurbani and kirtan playing at the back and really friendly staff working inside the restaurant. They are very polite and helpful. We ordered 2 Ambarsari kulchas for both of us with Mango Shake and Gud wali Chaa. One thing, kulchas are served with desi ghee on top of it, and i believe kulcha itself is made with desi ghee, hiving that perfect crunch to it. I ordered an extra kulcha (just kulcha, not an extra plate) and while waiting for it, i finished my channe. I was given extra channe on asking and the price of extra kulcha was half the price of full plate kulcha and they didnāt charged any money for extra channe. This is only done in Amritsar guys and i was expecting it to be like that. My wife loved their Mango shake as it was original taste with perfect sweetness. Gud wali chaa is amzaing, i am sipping it while writing this review. Overall. this is the best amritsari restaurant in Canada. I just had the best brunch in this country. I would highly recommend everyone to go and have a taste of authentic Ambarsari kulcha and know the real taste of it. Thank you #AmbarsariKulchaBlvd for the best time. It was worth travelling from Oshawa and worth waiting...
