Read moreVery poor services and unhygienic food. Today we came to this restaurant for dinner at around 9:45 pm. But we totally disappointed with their services and behaviour of the girl who was working at the cash counter. At the very first moment, we noticed, guests were waiting for the food and the girl was swiping the floor. We choose a place to seat in the middle of the restaurant where the square tables are. The lady told us to take any of the rectangles tables with long benches that are attached to the wall at the right side of it. So, we went there to seat and noticed that the table was not clean. I asked that lady to clean the table and she asked me to show her which tables are not clean. As if I was not telling the truth. Then I showed her the table was sticky. Then she cleaned it with a spray but could not dry it up with her towels. Then she gave me some tissues and told me to dry up the table if we feel it wet. So, we had to clean the table. During the order placing time I mentioned her at the counter not to swipe the floor when we will be eating our food. She said she will be swiping on the other side. But she came closer to the guests’ table and swiped the floor. She doesn’t care guests comments. Then after 30 minutes waiting time they served us food, but the nun was terrible to eat. It should be soft but it was so hard to break it like a very hard toast biscuits. So we showed it to that lady again. She requested us to wait 5 mins and they are going to prepare another nun for us. We waited for more than 15 minutes. My husband was waiting near the cash counter and watching them. Suddenly he saw the guy who was working inside was cleaning something using a hand gloves. But he used the same gloves to pack our nun. My husband mentioned that guy that he could not do such stupid things. We refused to take the nun from them. So, guys be careful. We will not go to the...
Read moreI am so disappointed in Caravan Kabob. When they first launched, the food was average. It was over-seasoned and not enjoyable. We hoped it would be an alternative to Pamier Kabob (previously at County Court Blvd.) since Caravan Kabob is closer to our home. But, it was just a let-down. Fast-forward a few years, a friend told me the food there improved a lot so I should give it another try. So I did. And she was right. During 2022/2023, it was excellent. Their standards had definitely risen and we became regular/almost weekly patrons. Then, last month we ordered the chicken breast dinner and it was undercooked. By the time I realized this, I had already eaten some of it and sure enough, I ended up in the hospital the next day and treated for food poisoning. For me, I never touched that food again. I didn't know how to report the food poisoning officially but to any readers, please be warned. On to the present day - my family member ordered some food from them, which I believe will be the last time anyone in my circle does. It was reported to me that the bolagnee was burnt, hard, over-seasoned and the potato tasted stale. The tandoori chicken seemed to not be grilled properly, either. I hope they, too, do not get food poisoning from tonight's meal. They've sent some pictures, which I've attached to this review. They spent approximately $80.00 and received very low standard food. What a disappointment to work so hard for money that was just flushed down the drain. I felt like this is the last straw, I had to ensure our collective experiences were documented in a review for others to make informed decisions about where they're...
