I recently had the misfortune with this restaurant, and I cannot express enough how disappointed and infuriated I am by the treatment my family and I received there. If you’re considering this place for a meal, I urge you to think twice and save yourself from a similarly dreadful experience.
We arrived at the restaurant with high hopes, only to be greeted by a chaotic and unkempt environment. The tables were dirty, with remnants of previous meals still lingering on the surfaces. It was clear that cleanliness wasn’t a priority for this establishment. The atmosphere was far from inviting, and it should have been our first clue to turn around and leave.
As we settled in, things took a turn for the worse. My daughter, who is only eight, accidentally spilled hot sambar on herself while trying to balance her plate. It was an honest mistake, and as any parent would do, I immediately sought assistance from our waiter. We simply needed a tissue to help clean up the mess and, more importantly, to tend to my daughter’s burning leg. But instead of a helpful response, we were met with blatant indifference. The waiter coldly informed us that tissues were “only for another table.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!
In a state of distress and concern for my daughter, I pleaded with the server, mentioning that her leg was actually burning. Still, he refused without a hint of empathy. Eventually, in sheer frustration, I offered to let him give the tissue to the other table instead, thinking perhaps that might finally elicit some assistance. Instead, I was met with a rude and condescending response: “Why are you making that face?” This man had the audacity to act like we were the problem here, all while my daughter was in visible pain from the hot sambar!
When I attempted to express my frustration, he escalated the situation further by claiming that we disrespected him. We were taken aback by his lack of professionalism and basic human decency. When we finally requested to speak to a manager, I had hoped for an ounce of understanding or acknowledgment of the inadequacy we had faced. Instead, the manager mirrored the same disrespect, siding with his employee and denying any wrongdoing on their part. Apparently, in this restaurant, it’s the customers who are at fault for asking for basic assistance!
To top off the awful experience, the food we ordered was far from satisfactory. It lacked flavor, freshness, and honestly, any effort whatsoever. We left feeling unsatisfied, not just in terms of food but also in the way we were treated. An establishment that doesn’t prioritize customer service or maintain a decent level of cleanliness has no business being open.
THIS!!!! is a prime example of how not to treat customers. The lack of respect and professionalism displayed by both the waiter and the manager was unappealing. How they managed to turn a simple meal into such a distressing situation is beyond me. Spare yourself the aggravation and find a place that actually values its patrons. I, for one, will not be returning and will make sure to share this experience with anyone I can. I WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO STARS!!! So...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer at this restaurant for years, recommending it to friends and family because I loved the food and service. However, my recent experience was absolutely disappointing, and frankly, disgusting.
We ordered Gobhi Manchurian and a Spring Masala Dosa. The Manchurian took 40 minutes to arrive, but that was only after repeatedly asking for the food. And don’t even get me started on the cutlery – we had to ask for it, and it came only after waiting for a long time. The same goes for the water; it wasn’t brought to the table until we specifically requested it.
When the Manchurian finally arrived, it was swimming in oil, to the point where it was nearly inedible. I requested a bowl to collect the oil, which just kept accumulating. The server came up with a weak excuse, claiming it was because they had to fry the Gobhi. But that doesn’t explain why the food was so drenched in oil. It felt like the restaurant wasn’t even trying to make it right; they just expected us to accept this poor quality.
We decided to cancel the Spring Dosa, but the server convinced us to wait since it was almost ready. When it finally came, it was just as greasy as the Manchurian. We couldn’t even finish our meal and decided to leave.
I asked for the bill, hoping for some acknowledgment of the terrible experience, but of course, there was no apology or resolution by the chef. The bill came with only one dish, which at least acknowledged that we didn’t eat much. I paid and didn’t tip, which is something I never do, but I couldn’t justify tipping after such a bad experience.
It’s clear that the restaurant doesn’t care about its customers or the quality of food. I know the owner won’t be bothered by this feedback, but they should know that I won’t be coming back, and I won’t be recommending it to anyone anymore.
I’m writing this review at 5 AM because I woke up feeling sick from the oily food. I’m already planning to take legal action over this...
Read moreThere is a new guy in working there and he only takes orders. He is EXTREMELY EXTREAMELY rude! Yesterday morning we asked to sit at a table at the back because it was very cold at the front. He is so arrogant and took my brother to show the back area saying its closed. Then we all sat at the back. (5 people). He then did not come over to take our order we had to call a lady to take order. She then sent him again. He wa literally yawing on our face while taking order as if he is doing a favor by taking our order. Then my brother asked him “whats the wait time?” He said “what??” (In a very rude tone) my brother said “wait time for food obviously “ he then proceeded and said “they tell wait time when to enter at the door”. We could not understand whats the issue with this guy why he is using extremely rude tone and we asked if there is any issue with him repeating the wait time since we are here at a restaurant so obviously we were asking wait time for food and not for a flight! LOL! We unfortunately ended up leaving because he has no manners and we have other options to explore. He is not the one paying our order nor making it so he can sit and enjoy in his arrogance! We then asked him what’s his name he said “PAPU”, for some reason we think he lied about his name but whatever. Also, this is not the first time he was rude. Once he argued extremely badly with my husband over coffee and tea. Extremely poor service. We have been going to this place since 2022 but this is a new guy and he just does not know how to talk. He is not that new because this coffee incident happened...
