Came to this franchise expecting similar service/quality as the one I constantly visit in Scarborough. Ordered a chai and an English breakfast solely based on the description on the menu. To my surprise they gave me only 1 piece of beef bacon while the menus states 2. I kindly spoke to the cashier/hostess and told her they accidentally shorted me on the food. She proceeds to tell me that despite what’s mentioned on the menu, they only give one piece at this location. I told her that when I placed the order she should’ve informed me of this and/or had to sign somewhere to correct the error on the menu for this location. She proceeded to tell me that if I really wanted another piece, I can just purchase it. I told her that going forward this issue definitely needs to be fixed because the error is legally binding.
After about 15 mins my partner asked her for an empty cup so we can share the chai. She said she can’t give her the cup for free and it’s 50cents. I told her I find it ridiculous that they blatantly have no customer service skills. I also told her that she needs to speak to the owner of the franchise and that they need to get their house in order.
Based off this experience, I think that the rest of the reviews are a hoax and potentially AI generated. I’m very surprised that they have over a four star rating for...
Read moreI'm seriously addicted to this place, my first visit was on Monday and I was given a sample of adrak and gur wali chai, I ended up ordering the Kadak 50/50. It was beyond delicious! Also bought chicken pastry, samosas and omelette pav. Omg, to die for! Service is impeccable. My only complaint, if any, is that they don't offer regular black hot coffee, they do offer oat milk n sugar-free options and even a cold brew coffee which my diabetic friend found a bit sweet.
2nd visit was Wed after 8 pm(today), I tried the dirty chai and my friend ordered the Kashmiri chai. Both were perfectly made. Also sampled the omelette wrap and veg puff - I'm not crazy about the omelette wrap, I feel like it should include onions and chillies to make it authentic. Aastha was super courteous and gave us a sample of chai latte n chicken and veg puffs to sample, I found that so incredibly sweet. The latte is too milky for my liking but tastes good, just not my preference. I will 100% return to try other things in their menu, very likely this week! Chai is my love language and this place speaks to me in every way.... Highly recommended, ambience 15/10, food 12/10, service 20/10. Astalavista baby,...
Read moreI recently visited Chaiwala of London in Brampton and had a delightful experience. The cafe has a cozy, bakery-style atmosphere, making it a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some good chai and snacks. I tried their Kashmiri chai, which was delicious—it had a lovely rose color and came with pistachios, adding to its richness. My friends had the Karak chai, and they enjoyed it as well.
In addition to chai, they offer a great selection of snacks, including burgers and wraps, which are perfect for a quick bite. Their cold drinks menu is also impressive, with options like iced chai, frappes, and refreshing lemonades. The variety of drinks and snacks makes this a great spot whether you’re in the mood for something hot or cold.
The cafe has a comfortable dine-in setup for those who prefer to sit, chat, and relax while enjoying their tea and snacks. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe was very welcoming. Whether you’re looking for a quick chai fix, some tasty snacks, or a place to relax and gossip with friends, this is a great spot. Definitely recommend...
