Hello foodies… Today I bring you another amazing review and a must try on your foodie bucket list. This Portuguese take out place not only has some delicious grilled and BBQ chicken but they also have an amazing hot table with authentic amazing Portuguese dishes that vary and rotate every day, from fish to meat and pork , salads, veggies and all sorts of amazing authentic sea food delicacies. And being Portuguese I know good authentic food when I taste it. I have gotten takeout from this place many times and have tried most of what they have on the menu and let me tell you it’s been absolute fire! Everything is cooked with love and passion and full of that authentic Portuguese home cooked flavors just as my mom makes it Food 5/5 today I opted for their Peas with chicken and Portuguese Chorizo stew, it’s their one of their specialty dishes they serve on Wednesdays along with other amazing dishes. I got the small and it was enough for two people for sure very large generous portions , the chicken was so soft so tender just fall of the bone juicy in that stew sauce with bits of pork belly and Chorizo sausage just an amazing dish to have with some crusty bread and a beer . Service 5/5 This place is professional in every sense of the word well organized with several staff working taking your order, while others have your order ready in less than 5 minutes even when its busy and its always busy, go early because they do run out of certain dishes if you show up late in the day, they are friendly and super nice. The place is spotless extremely clean with plenty of parking in the plaza easy to find as they have the big Portuguese flag in the front window. I’ve been ordering food from here for plenty of years all of the parties that we throw we have always come here to buy our food . Yesterday my wife placed an order over the phone which they did not repeat the order she was placing or give her the price over the phone. Which the mistake could have easily been fixed over the phone. Once we arrived my wife had noticed she had made a mistake on the combo she had placed . The owner heard she had downsized and started making a big deal that he had cooked an extra chicken close to closing time , I can understand but didn’t have to make it noticeable to the point I was hearing him speak to his employees . As we were waiting for our food he turned to his employee in rudely matter saying what are you waiting for she stated she was for the rice all of a sudden The lady comes from the back with a fresh tray of rice at closing time . He was so upset that we made a mistake with our order but didn’t care they had just brought a fresh tray of rice I guess they saved it for the next day . This place is the best. We placed an order for pick up last Saturday. When we hot there as usual very busy. It seems no matter how busy they are, you are never forgotten. No matter who takes care of you , either ordering the food or picking up large orders they always have a smile and always wish you the best. Now the food. Oh my Goodness. Chicken is so good. When I ordered the lady suggested that I get the 3 chickens which along with that you get potatoes, rice and choice of veggies or salad. She said if you want some leftovers then order the 3 not 2 chickens. Good job she was right. They wrap the food trays up so good, then give newspaper to carry them out.
