Been coming here for years and then stopped eating out as much. Came here for the first time in a while, as the food and service were great. Ordered a beef and chciken wrap combo, which says it comes with rice or fries and pop, and I ordered Barbicans (great drink) expecting a price adjustment like they used to do.
TL:DR Might be a one off but meat lacked seasoning, toppings seemed bland, fries good if seasoned and staff not as friendly as they used to be, charged extra for fries.. make sure you ask what comes with what.
The fries are usually excellent with the seasoning. Asked for extra seasoning several times. Got Home, and it barely had any. Prices are misleading. I was charged an extra 3.50 per fry when you order a combo that says Rice or Fries, seems like robbery. Portion wise its like a medium McDs fries but crispy. Regarding the wraps, the seasoning and toppings and meat were so bland. Most of the sauces were added, and we could barely taste them. Tabouli taste was barely noticeable. Turnip was the only item that was consistent. Hot sauce wasn't even noticeable but my heat tolerance is better. While waiting for the food to be packed, the guy prepping the food rushed over to get the fries done. One lady just stood by the cash registrer watching the guy make fries and couldn't help bag the food and drinks which was right beside her, right until the very end. The grill was not hot. My wraps sat in it for sometime 2-3 min, barely left any grill marks. Got home, and my wrap was cold. It wasn't even in the same bag as the pop. I live 4 minutes away. The Barbican's were the best part of...
Read moreIt don’t deserve any stars but because The post wouldn’t go through without one I am forced to give 1 star. Horrible service!!! My first impression today was what the hell is going on with the staff here. An older staff was yelling down on the younger one for a long period of time, the poor girl looked so ashamed. Lady couldn’t careless if there were other people in the restaurant. The young girl served me and she put the wrong size meal which was a large- I didn’t wAt plaza and had 2 spoons whilst having lunch with my colleagues I could not continue as it was too salty and it made my belly turn. I rushed back to the restaurant and explained what happened and requested a refund. Young lady spoke to the aggressive staff and she came arguing with me about my request for refund, I informed her that she was yelling and she should tone it down but she continued yelling. Finally after a long time of her telling me no, she took my number and said she will call me after she contact her manager. At 3:08lm I got a call from her stating that her manager didn’t approve of the refund and that I ate half of the food. At that point I thought what kind of business is this! I went back to her and she said no and turned her back and went to the kitchen. I asked for the manager name and number and she said that she did not want customers to reach her. I didn’t get a name or number. Worst...
Read moreYour “Fake Review !!!” reply is exactly why no one should trust this place. You’re publicly accusing a customer of being an Uber driver, stealing food, and “misbehaving” — claims that are untrue and irresponsible. Here are the facts: I paid for an $18 shawarma plate that was mostly rice and scraps of chicken; I behaved respectfully; when I raised the issue you responded by attacking me instead of fixing the problem. That’s unacceptable.
If you want to defend your business, do it with evidence — not with baseless accusations that threaten your credibility. I have screenshots and timestamps of my order and your replies and I’ve already filed a formal complaint with Uber Eats/third-party delivery and with consumer support. If you refuse to correct your misleading public statement and improve how you serve paying customers, I’ll escalate this to consumer protection channels and share my documented experience widely so other customers can decide for themselves.
Customers deserve honest service and accountability — not gaslighting and finger-pointing. Fix the portions, train your staff to be courteous, and take down your false accusation. Until then, this place should...
