If I could give zero or negative stars, I would.
I want to start by saying that I do not usually leave reviews. I am doing this because I felt I had no other choice.
I attended this “restaurant” yesterday with my family. There was a total of 9 of us.
Our appetizers arrived at the table in 15-20 minutes. The server left the appetizers at the table but did not give us any plates. We waited 5 minutes, and no one came to check. I got up, found one of the many confused looking employees and asked for plates. They gave us 4 paper plates, and we are a group of 9. It took us another 10 minutes or so to get enough plates for everyone.
There was 4 kids under the age of 9 with us. We ordered 2 regular-sized dosas for them to share as a regular masala dosa was not on the kids menu. Once the food arrived, they refused to provide an extra two plates for the kids to share, since it was against their policy.
The grand finale - one of the employees brought my husband’s dosa and dropped the entire plate, including the chutneys, all over my husband and myself. It ruined his brand new shirt and my brand new, out of the box, white running shoes. They moved us to a different table since the chutneys were everywhere. By the time we moved, our food was ICE cold. A few minutes later, my brother asked for a chutney and the employee had the audacity to say “that is an extra dollar”.
Mistakes happen. It is not the accident that is the problem, it is the the response from the “manager” who identifies herself as the owners niece. She said that all she could do is remove the cost of 1 dosa ($13) and pay for the cost of dry cleaning. She had no response to my new running shoes, the ice cold food and the overall nightmare of an evening they manufactured for us. I told them that we did not want their discount, paid the entire bill and left without finishing the cold food.
Our total bill was less than $120. The bill was a fraction of the cost of the damage done to our things. They refused to waive the bill or provide new fresh dosas. I urge the management to learn the basics of customer service. They are disgustingly cheap and employ very basic short-term thinking.
This review is not meant to hurt the business. This review is meant to WARN people to avoid this place at all costs. You can find much better...

Changing after multiple times ordering same order as take away Dahi wadas are my favorite here, whenever i do a take away NOT enough dahi or chutneys are put! This is extreme disappointment from a place which serves with perfection & i am sad to post this review
2ndly, the waiting time to get 1 dosa whilst dining in is 25 mins & get 1 filter coffee 15 mins! I don’t understand if you cannot manage 1 restaurant how come a 2nd one has opened?? There should be just 1 chef managing inside!
Attaching photos of take away Dahi wadas in 2nd 3rd & 5th picture! Please change your container to fit enough dahi, chutney & wadas Please compare what is served in house & how it is given as take away Please please look into this at the earliest 🙏🏻
Also, I’d prefer to go to other South indian places like Saravana Bhavan just nearby! Excellent service there, excellent dosas! Unfortunately dosa dosa cannot provide good enough quick service to serve 1 single order too.
