I went here for lunch with a colleague, and it was her first time at eggsmart where I have been multiple times at a different location. This was the first time I’ve been to this location and yes, given that its new, its clean and the place looks great. Food wise and presentation wise there are room for improvements. I got the chicken and waffles and I didn’t expect it to be chicken strips and a waffle, at that time I had better expectations but was greatly disappointed as soon as it was served; on top of that, they weren’t any fruits or whatsoever just a plain waffle and 3 chicken strips.
Another thing I noticed was that the server did not look presentable, I was worried, she had really long hair and wasn’t tied at all—my worry was that hair might get to my food, overall, she was nice but did not know half the things at the store, which was fine considering the place was new. Yet when my colleague asked for a diet pepsi she said they have it, and I happen to sit where I had access to see the bar… she took out a bottle of coke and poured it in the glass and handed it to my colleague… our server had asked twice before leaving to confirm if she had asked for diet pepsi and yet when my friend, complained she said she doesnt know and that they don’t have it.
Anyway, there’s certainly a lot more room for improvements to work on. But I don’t think I’d be coming back to this location, considering I was telling my colleague and praising that eggsmart is my fave breakfast place to go to… it was...
Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would. My husband and I ate at this location today Sunday February 2nd. We were served by Savanna. As soon as we walked in at 2:52pm she said that we can sit anywhere to the left side of the room and that they close in 45 minutes. Her behaviour from the beginning was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we ordered 3 eggs with home fries toast and side of fruit; I asked if I can replace my fruit with tomato. She said no. Then I asked if I can get more home fries instead of fruit she said no. Her attitude was unnecessary and anything I would ask she seemed to be annoyed by. She served us burnt coffee and when I asked her to brew a new pot she was rude about that. The apparent new pot also smelled extremely bad and we could not drink it. The portion of our home fries was so small and when I asked why that was (the other person sitting next to us had a large portion of home fries); she said she can’t do anything about it and I can speak to her manager if I like. So I said yes. She came back a few moments later and said her manger is busy and she will give us some more home fries. The whole experience was horrible. I think she should be reprimanded for her incompetence and this location should really look at how their servers treat customers because we will not...
Read moreI’ve ordered from Eggs every weekend via Uber Eats or in person — always polite, always paying. Simple requests like swapping potatoes for fruit or reducing bread to manage carbs were never an issue — until today.
Staff member Sohana shockingly called me and yelled, saying, “You order every weekend, and this is the last time we are doing changes. We won’t be doing it anymore. It’s not acceptable.” Her tone was aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. It left me shocked and embarrassed. I’ve never experienced this level of rudeness in hospitality.
This is a complete failure in customer service and hospitality training. If this is how your staff treat regulars, I’m done. I’m switching to Pur & Simple across the street — better menu, professional staff, more flexible, and frankly, more welcoming.
This isn’t just about one order — it’s about a long-term customer being humiliated for being loyal.
I will be sharing this across local community groups, social media, and food review platforms, so others are warned about this toxic behavior. Unless action is taken, this review stays — and so does my recommendation to try Pur &...
