Me and my husband went to get mcdonalds right before going home. The lady we spoke to at the drivethru was sweet and very nice we cracked some jokes and she told us to pull up for our food because our filet of fish wasnt ready. We were waiting for about 30mins until my husband went to go ask them what was taking so long. There he met the employee named Jasleen not sure if thats her name or she made one up on spot. She was rude and condescending. My husband explained the situation to her and she kept denying everything. Instead started saying it was our fault. Thats when i walked out when i heard her and my husband speaking loud and i got upset because she told us it was on us for waiting so long and noone told us to park on the side. I told her we were told to park and both of the girls started saying they wouldnt say that because it is unsafe to be out and she told us to wait. While we were in the middle of talking Jasleen slammed the side window on our faces to get our food. When she came back i had my phone out to get the name of the manger and my hand was resting on the window edge as i told my husband to check if the food was still hot i asked for the manager she advised it was her the district manager or franchise owner Jasleen advised it was her and slammed the window on my finger. I then screamed and told her my finger is there and not to fully close the door. This worker had no empathy did not care to apologize kept blaming us for everything so unprofessional. I am VERY displeased with the service and will definitely be taking this to higher authorities. You dont do that to customers. Mcdonalds need to do a better job on the hiring because the employees are out of hand. Noone deserves service like this. My finger is now bruised and swollen and my day job mainly requires typing. First off, the cleanliness. The tables and the floor are often dirty and sticky and have food leftovers all around. Do they not have people responsible for just cleaning, say, every hour?
Second, the ordering machines. I remember going there like 3 or 4 days in a row, and the machines never had the paper for receipts. People were telling them to fix it, but they didn’t. It's a minor problem, yet it is very hard to see your order number, which is a problem as we get to the final point of my complaint.
Third, they rarely do the order correctly. When I customize a drink like coke or coffee, they may either not remove the ice, not add the Splenda, or not remove a liquid sugar syrup. For me it's a matter of preference, but do they know that there're people who are not allowed to eat sugar for health-related issues? Their inattention is terrible.
And finally, most importantly, the way workers process orders as if they were fast. That is, I've noticed how they mark every order as served almost immediately after you make it Despite this, it takes them pretty long afterwards to make a basic thing like iced coffee or a smoothie. Not sure how it works, but it definitely boosts their location statistics and makes it seem to the higher management that they do every order in mere seconds. The local supervisor or a lower-rank manager clearly knows that, because I saw him doing this like other workers. Getting back to the receipt paper, imagine this: you do not know your order number because the machine is broken and, in addition to all that, they will mark it as served shortly after you made an order, and the number...
Read moreI visit this location quite frequently, and for the most part i don’t have issues with this location. I’ve had a few mishaps like missing an item from my order, but nothing that would steer me away from this location. We’re human, we all make mistakes.
My ONLY complaint is not regarding the location itself, but someone who works at this location. There’s an Indian lady, roughly in her 20s-30s, typically wears glasses (although seen her a few times without), dark hair and seems to be a Supervisor or Manager. She’s not friendly AT ALL!
On May 25th, i went for Breakfast and once i got my food, i asked her if i could get some Ketchup. I extended my hand for her to put the ketchup packet in my hand, instead she placed the packet on the counter, away from my hand and then walked off. It’s obviously not a huge issue, but when you deal with other people at this location and they’re so friendly when asking for things, and then you deal with her. It’s honestly like we’re bothering her.
Maybe instead of having Cutlery, Napkins and Ketchup behind the counter, let the customers have access to it so we can help ourselves if it’s such a bother.
It’s not to be disrespectful, but Jobs are tough to come by nowadays, and when you see someone who doesn’t seem friendly and looks like they have no desire being there, give the opportunity to someone who will gladly do the job, and do it with a positive attitude. Especially when the other Managers/Employees are so friendly, she really sticks out amongst the rest.
I give this...
