This is without a doubt the worst McDonalds location in the area. The service isn't just slow, it's lacking in quality also and the staff is snippy about it. I don't typically like to complain about a wait time at McDonald's, because getting food in under ten minutes is already pretty impressive, but when I'm waiting fifteen minutes, my order is bumped, and then another fifteen minutes passes before I get my order (with a burnt bun, hard cheese, and no onions on my quarter pounder), I get a little turned off. When I went to the counter after twenty five minutes to ask if the order was bumped because they gave it to someone, I was met condescension. I was told to prove that I ordered something, and when presenting the digital receipt from my curbside pickup order the employee turned around and walked away to yell at somebody. When my neighbors told me to avoid this location, I thought it was for just slow service, which I suppose I can get passed. But every person who's told me to just go to A&W instead isn't speaking about preference of one brand over the other, they've all said this McDonald's just isn't up to snuff. And the fact that they bumped my order early, presumably to keep their average service time impressive to corporate, tells me that the shortcuts on shortcuts at this location has lead to a total degradation of restaurant quality standards. Read moreHORRIBLE SERVICE if I could do negative do negative stars I would there is a lot of problems at this location First of all 2 days ago we ordered and was missing bacon on a wrap and the bread was stale and on top of that missing straws and napkins but we thought we’d let it pass and just not complain. Jokes on us we ordered tonight Ordered through their website 2 quarter pounder combos just to not get both of the quater pounders. Also was a hair in my fries. So we call and the manger the girl is super unprofessional saying that they can make it up for us by giving extra ketchup packets? Or we can come in. So in the middle of our sentence of saying we said okay we will come in the manager hangs up on us, I call back she lies saying she didn’t hang up we try to tell her the toppings on them cause one of them was no onions she hangs up on us AGAIN so at that point we go into the store mind the fact it’s 4am. We wait over 20 mins. Just for them to tell us they have no quarter pounders ? How is there none when we just talked to the manager and she said she will have it ready. So we had to wait the 20 mins for it cause the manager didn’t communicate the situation to her coworkers. Why can't the folks taking your order coordinate so that a customer is not watching 4 cars go by in the other lane before you get your order placed. Once identified to the cashier, "sorry have a nice day" is the resolve. Next up is awaiting your pickup, where the girl doesn't acknowledge you are there, waiting 7 mins without interaction, then the supervisor asks what was my order... Again. Really??! Was finally given my order only to see my kids' NotSo Happy Meal box falling apart and opening on the bottom. When I asked for a bag, she said this is how it is. After the awful service, "Sorry have a nice day" was the parting comment. I hope the head office investigates this branch. The service, much like most Brampton branches is poor at best. Burger King will get my business from here on in.
*update Dec 29th 2024. Decided to try this place again, hoping there was improvement. Imagine after waiting 24 mins for a drive thru order in the reserved spot, I walk in to the restaurant to see my order sitting there with 4 others. To ask, the response is "sorry about that". Well why did it take so long?. Oh ot was raining really heavy, so no one wanted to get wet.
What an absolute dump this place is. Only to get back home to find items missing...
