I have been going to pita land for the past 10 years + and I donât think I have ever come across such a disappointing experience. I usually go to the one in Mississauga (Hurontario and Eglinton) but decided to give this location a chance. The server was nice and I asked if I could get the chicken saj wrap to go. Usually the saj wraps are very thin , packed light and cut up into pieces to eat. This place, the server stuffed the wrap so much that I was started to think she was making me a chicken shawarma wrap. She charged me for a chicken saj wrap , even though it was clearly a shawarma wrap. She cut the wrap into two and gave me the food. I went back into my car to eat it and let me tell you , it was just a disaster.
Way too much toppings , I had to search for the chicken throughout all the veggies
The saj wrap was not even toasted , which already ruined the experience and excitement to eat the food
The wrap was so soggy that it was just falling apart after every bite.
Management has to do better and train their employees on how to make the items they advertise on their menus. Without proper training and knowledge, you canât produce the results we come in for.
Super disappointing considering the fact that pita land has been opened for more...
Read moreLet me preface this by saying that I worked for Pitaland for over a year at a different branch so I know exactly what the practices are there. I ordered from them after an insanely long time today and got a beef kebab which happens to be my favorite thing in the menu and also coincidentally one of the most if not the most expensive. The issue with beef kebab used to be that while they tasted divine right off the grill, but as soon as you put them in the warming table, they turn pretty disgusting. Now unfortunately that used to the practice where they'd make a bunch of those kebabs and put them in the warmer. I was genuinely hoping they changed that considering all the price hikes and also because this branch is not where I worked and I really hoped this will be better. Unfortunately doesn't look like it. I just ordered a dinner plate and I can tell with the first bite that the kebabs had been sitting in the warmer for a while because they taste like cardboard. Incredibly disappointed, I guess I will go back to not eating at...
Read moreOn Feb 27th me and my wife visited this establishment to have dinner. My wife noticed a strand of hair in her plate and showed it to the women at the front of the store. The women insisted that she would scrape the hair out of the food because it was on the sauce portion of the plate and to compensate us she would add a bit more chicken to the plates portion. I couldnât believe what they were saying to us. The resolution that was offered literally blew me away as a customer. How can you offer to remove hair from someoneâs food and give them the same plate? I told her I was very upset with the way this was handled. Iâm not a picky guy and wouldnât have cared if they just apologized and made us another plate, however the response they gave us was completely disturbing. I will never ever come to this place again. Lazeez is down the road and they will earn my business...
