Well this was our first time at this Turtle Jack's location and while it was a lovely restaurant, the experience wasn't equal to its appearance. In short, my husband ordered the meatloaf and on his first bite he noticed the entire inside was cold from the fridge, I could feel how cold it was just by touching it, I guess they forgot to microwave it. The server took it back immediately without issue, but my husband was so turned off, he changed to fajitas instead to ensure he would get a hot meal considering they are supposed to be served sizzling! I had the Poke Bowl which was absolutely delicious, but the portion was very small. We don't drink and found that it was like pulling teeth to get water. Firstly I asked for water with lemon, and of course the lemon wasn't brought out with our water, I had to ask 3 more times. Then, I had to wave various servers down 4 additional times to refill our water after I drank mine and my husband's because our server was no where to be seen. Then, when they brought me another glass of water, they didn't bring one for my husband or remove the empty glass(es) so we ended up with a collection of empty glasses on our table throughout our entire meal. I'm sure if we ordered alcohol they would be all over us for seconds, thirds and would have taken the empties away without being asked!! Despite the taste of the food, I'm not sure if we will return.
