Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Brantford

I am so disappointed. I love Mr. Sub and would choose to go here over Subway any day. Except as of late. I frequent this location often as I live on the West side. The last couple of visits I have noticed how cheap they are becoming with topping and as of last visit, the meat. I ordered a 12 foot Turkey sub. Price was $10.79. After the lady finished with my toppings she placed 3 pieces of Turkey and started to wrap it up. I expressed that I ordered a footlong and needed more Turkey. She added some. I also ordered an assorted and got 9 pieces of cold cuts. When I got to the register I noticed I was charged .60 per piece of meat added. Totaling 6 additional meats. I know I sound like a Karen, my intention is not that. I’m just disappointed. Cutting corners at the expense of the customer. Unfortunately that extra $5.00 they charged me for, lost them thousands of dollar's as I will never support this business again. It does look to be under new ownership and it’s clear they are looking for profit and not longevity with their customer base. Sadly, it seems that this once Canadian company is no longer providing Canadian standards. This picture is of the “double meat” sub I paid over $16.00 for. I should have listened to my bf and went to Palace Submarine...

I did attend this location Saturday October 26 at about 8 pm Unfortunately this location has “new” management that does not have the same Canadian values that I have come to expect with this brand, my gf ordered a Turkey sub and it had Three pieces of meat on it? It looks nothing like the picture and this is not a proper sandwich! and Sparse toppings on all sandwiches that were ordered… I had a pizza sub and the cheese was not melted it was served as a cold sub..then I ordered a coffee and a cinnamon twist donut the donut was stale and rock hard when my gf asked for a bill of sale we got attitude and were given the wrong bill lol. the dog wouldn’t even eat the donut lol, that’s how you know your food is bad when the dog says no thanks lol. I have been a regular costumer at this location for some time now as I am local and now I will NEVER return… your cheap attitude has driven at least two costumers away I won’t stop for gas coffee or subs. Greed is not a good trait to have and this experience tells me not to support businesses that are run by new comers because it seems to be the theme at all of these types...

The service provided was terrible. We asked for four large veggie subs, which ALWAYS come with two slices of cheese. However, we were told that if we wanted a second slice of cheese in each sub, there will be an additional charge per cheese slice. The lady working argued the fact that the sub comes with apparently only one cheese slice. She seemed to have attitude throughout the entire time of completing our order, specifically after putting on a second slice of cheese. I would not mind paying for extra toppings if they were not included but paying for something that comes with the order is out of the question.

In addition, she did not ask us if we wanted the subs toasted or grilled and processed to wrap up the subs to complete the order and did not label them.

This is not the type of service I would expect from Mr Sub, especially having visited multiple locations. I would not recommend this location to anyone and would never visit this location...
