Sunset Grill — Restaurant in Brantford

Second bad experience at Henry Street location in two weeks. Last week the food was the culprit, as the home fries were very undercooked. This week, they brought my wife's breakfast and forgot mine. After waiting for 20 minutes while the server walked around the restaurant topping everyone else's coffee up, periodically checking with the very confused cooks, he apologized and said it wouldn't be much longer. I cancelled the order as I had no desire to sit and eat alone since my wife was already finished her breakfast. We were there to have breakfast TOGETHER. Although the server credited her meal, I would much rather have had what I ordered, and have it on time. So with two issues in two weeks, I think it's time to move on to one of the better choices for breakfast. There are many to choose from and most of them are not going downhill...

Can't beat this Sunset Grill location when it comes to knowledgeable friendly staff and a good hearty breakfast. Once again Amy our server went above and beyond to make our Sunday breakfast outing a fun experience. All the staff seems to pulls together and help each other out, the friendly British gent Tom came around with coffee, asked if there's anything we needed, sweet Meredith brought out our food while it was hot, along with another server, when Amy was busy serving other customers. Considering how busy this place can be they really know how to all pull together to get everyone in and out in a timely manner without feeling rushed or waiting to long. The food here is absolutely top notch—you can clearly tell the cooks are not only skilled but truly passionate about what they do. The owner personally greets tables with a smile and friendly conversation, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

Our server today, Charlene, was amazing. She had such a natural rapport with guests, making everyone feel like a regular. The entire staff is incredibly attentive, ensuring everything is perfect from start to finish. You can feel the positive energy in the air, with staff and patrons chatting and laughing like old friends.

Hands down, the #1 spot for breakfast and lunch...
