Beef Broccoli — Restaurant in British Columbia

This restaurant caters to Kelownas pallets for Chinese food. The plates are your basic western dishes like almond chicken, sweet and sour pork, chow mein , beef and broccoli. The quality of meat when I went was tough not velveted and for dine in the chow mein was over cooked and soft. The person on the wok had decent skill, you could taste a little bit of it. It seems like this restaurant does more delivery then dine in now because the tables in the restaurant had tons of supplies piled all over the place so only the tables on the right are Osborn for dine in. Overall, I’m beginning to think, the Chinese restaurants in Kelowna serve lack lustre flavourless dishes because that’s what sells and that’s what the people here buy. This is not the best Chinese food in town as per the other reviews. This is sugary, sweet, soft mall style Chinese food with ok portions.

What would make this place better: combination platters that are different from the next. Some tenderizing of the meat. A curtain to hide the supplies. Maybe even feature a viral recipe or two: skirt dumplings, bbq buns or their take on a holiday mean, sweet and sour turkey balls with a sweet and sour gravy. This is the 4th time we have ordered take out. This time the boneless garlic pork was so over done it was almost inedible and the broccoli was mush. When I called them and explained they didn’t care. The problem is that they don’t take accountability. Will think twice before ordering again.

.we have ordered from here a few times but going from bad to worse. The gentleman that sometimes answers the phone barely speaks English so difficult to have him understand your order. They have now twice forgotten part of our order to which we have paid for and tipped as well. We pick our food up and no we didn’t check it before leaving. When we get home and discover part of our order is missing - you call them and they try and blame us and then tell us to come back and get what they missed. We don’t live really close so it’s a pain to return. They don’t seem to care. Will definitely not order from them again🤬. Plus their food is...

I usually don't write reviews but I unfortunately have to do this one.

My wife and I decided to give this place a dine- in try. The place doesn't look very well taken care of from the inside. We were awkwardly greeted and assigned a table. When we got the menus, we asked about a few options of what is served with certain options. The staff didn't seem to know their menu very well. I eventually ordered broccoli chicken. I don't know if the chickens were flexible gymnasts in their lifetime but when I got my chicken, it was the most rubbery, slimey chicken I've ever had. All in all a not so good experience and both my wife and I felt kinda sick to the stomach afterwards.
