Update: Finally went back to Carl's JR and the Manager did honor my credit. What I ate in store was fresh and delicious.
Ordered through Skip the dishes, who delivered the food fast and hot. My problem was with my order. I had ordered Teriyaki thick burger, and a Mushroom thick burger. Upon receiving my food I opened the Mushroom burger and the contents of the burger consisted of bun, mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. There was no 1/3 pound thick patty. How do you forget to put the burger on an order?
So I have to admit I was pretty pissed. I called the store and spoke to the Manager. He said he would remake my burger, and call me when it was ready to pick up. I tried to remain civil as I explained the whole idea of delivery was so that I didn't have to leave the house to begin with and that I was not about to drive down there so they could fix the mistake that they had created to begin with. The Manager then stated I should contact Skip the dishes to correct the mistake. Again I tried very hard to remain calm as I explained this wasn't their problem to begin with. It felt like pulling teeth to get any kind of compensation from them and pretty much had to demand that my entire order be credited so my next time I go into Carl's JR, I can get the order I paid for.
I also recommended that maybe they shouldn't use a valued service like Skip the dishes if they can't remember to put the meat...
Read moreFirst and last time! We waited in Drive thru for over 20 mins. The speaker was oddly located before the menu board, so being unfamiliar with the setup, I assumed the speaker was located at menu board, like 99% other drive thrus, and drove past it! I figured it out too late to back up, and there was a truck on my bumper. The worker at the speaker could not get the order correct, even though I was speaking very loudly so it would reach the speaker, so eventually we just said yes, it's fine. The line was sooooo slow, it was bizarre! We had a meet up arranged with family, and we left plenty of time to go through to get a quick bite to eat. The truck in front was exasperated with their interaction as well, and we watched him hand cash back and forth several times, and then they must've got the order incorrect because the other driver gave the food back to whoever was working the window. I could see him explaining patiently what he wanted and it was a crazy long period of time, and then they finally received their order and exited the drive thru. At this point, we were late for our meet up, and we just kept on driving past the window without our food that we waited so long to receive. I will never EVER go here again!!! I've never seen anything so dysfunctional in fast food industry, and hope...
