SEPHORA — Local services in British Columbia

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Lisa at the Tsawwasssen Sephora location was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Her attitude was shockingly unprofessional and completely unhelpful. Rather than assisting me with a straightforward return, she seemed more focused on protecting her sales commission than actually helping a paying customer.

She flat-out refused to process a valid return, despite all the required documentation being in order. Instead of offering solutions, she kept making excuses and putting up roadblocks, clearly trying to discourage the return and push me to keep items I no longer wanted. It felt manipulative and unethical—like she cared more about her bottom line than Sephora’s customer service values.

What’s worse is that I, as the customer, was left to suffer the consequences of her poor behavior. I wasted time, energy, and felt deeply disrespected. Sephora promises hassle-free returns, but Lisa made it feel like an interrogation.

If Sephora wants to maintain its reputation, they seriously need to retrain Lisa or reconsider if she’s fit for a customer-facing role. No one should have to deal with that kind of dismissive, profit-driven attitude in a store that prides itself on service.

I am not a person who usually gives reviews. But my last visit to this Sephora is still bothering me so me my boyfriend and my brother went there on Monday evening . We went there but didn’t buy anything and we had no bags in our hands but for some reason front door’s alarm went on while we were exiting so i know when things like this happens employees usually check the bags to see if their is any tags left on but we were empty handed so woman on front with big fake eyebrows said wait i will call someone to check and my boyfriend said there is nothing to check we don’t have any bags but she made us wait and then security guy came and he said there is nothing to check you guys can go it was so embarrassing and still bothering me she must be thinking that security guy going to strip check us or something. I personally don’t like to visit Sephora’s stores because for some reason Sephora’s employees (not all of them but most of them)thinks they are CEO’s or some big makeup artist and treat people badly i mostly prefers...

Had an issue with brow bar sign ups, But once I booked and got them done 5/5 . Went from a bushy to clean and shaped, my brows have never looked better! Guneet was able to give me recommendations and made sure I was okay with everything as it was my 1st time. She was also able to let me know some of the other services I could get done.

First time I went in I asked for a shade match(In general) and walked out with everything I needed for a basic clean look. I've had issues locating some products, but the girls I asked have been super helpful and super welcoming.

Cannot express how welcomed I felt when I was asking questions, I felt awkward asking and they just answered. As someone who is new to all this, this may be the most important part. Will be coming back, to the determent...
