Pappa Leo's Pizza — Restaurant in British Columbia

Old review: Always enjoy their pizza, tastes amazing fresh and the next day. Staff are always friendly and up-beat. Wings are great but a little pricey.

Update: I guess it only takes one bad experience to change it all. Wife ordered some pizzas for our kids birthday party and used a promo code they texted to us earlier that week. It only allowed the BOGO 50% off on one pizza per order, so we made three orders for pickup after speaking to one of the employees on the phone to ask if that would work.

Once I went to pickup the pizza, one of the employees basically scolded me saying if I tried anything like that again, he would void the transaction once I came for pickup.

I honestly had no idea what was going on, I was just picking up the pizzas, but when my wife let me know how she had called first, spoke to them, and then put the order in it really annoyed me how I was treated in the store.

There's plenty of other pizza places to try out, and this won't be anywhere I go...

I Ordered from Papa Leo’s because I wanted to have a good pizza with lots of cheese and a great tasting crust. I usually get some pretty basic pizza when I order. 1/2 sauce always with beef and bacon or bacon on half or a pesto on half cheese on the rest . Well this time I ordered my typical 1/2 sauce or as the order taker on the phone put it “light sauce”. Believe me they meant “light sauce” couldn’t tell there was any on it at all. The cheese was almost burnt. It was barely covering the whole top of the pizza . The half that had the bacon I couldn’t notice it til I ate it . The dough would hav had some potential to be good except it was a bit overcooked and that ruined it. The lack of cheese was really a turn off and the cheese that was on it was overcooked. We had been very busy packing for our upcoming move and decided to grab pizza from Papa Leo’s for a quick dinner.

We ordered fast online and it was ready in 15 mins.

The pizza was hot and fresh with lots of toppings.

But the best part to me was the service when I picked it up. There was the friendliest young woman who waited on me and she was so attentive and kind. She listened to my frazzled self as I told her a quick story about us packing for the move. She laughed with me and really made me feel less stressed. I regretfully do not have her name but hopefully management will know who was working Sunday evening, Jan. 29. She is star and such a bright light in the service industry right...
