Burrito Boyz — Restaurant in Burlington

Update: Changed my star rating as I have returned a few times since and the serving size and quality has been on par with the other BB locations. Ran into one issue with an online order but the manager/owner? corrected it beyond my satisfaction.

Wow what a disappointment! First off I was excited to find out a burrito boyz was opening in Burlington. I have been going to the lakeshore location in Etobicoke for quite some time and have consistently had a flavourful and FILLING meal....this couldn't have been further from that. The food comparison is to what has been received on prior identical orders at the Lakeshore location. I knew I was in trouble once they handed me the bag and there was no weight to it whatsoever. Ordered the same as usual, 2 small burritos and nachos. Both burritos were basically tortilla with minimal toppings, so little that the burrito very easily "unwrapped" at the bottom on both but not to worry there was no toppings to fall out just the sauce. Nachos are not even worth commenting on. Once again, cheap on toppings. The star rating isn't for the brand just this location. If you want to experience a real Burrito Boyz meal drop into the Lakeshore or Port Credit locations, the Burlington location unfortunately fails greatly...

I really like Burrito Boyz and their location on Winston Churchill and Dundas has consistently been amazing! BUT I just switched jobs and the Brant location in Burlington is the one that is close to my office.

I have gone there three times now and I have to say i have been seriously disappointed every time- the staff is nice and the service quick. I always get a steak burrito, just rice and no beans. First the rice which usually has chunks in it is way too chunky the peppers are cut to large, the steak has been burnt 2/3 times and usually has fatty gritty bits in it which makes for a less than appealing bite. THEN and probably most annoyingly the burrito is always always broken... so when I come back to the office to eat it ends up all over my desk after the first bite. Also every time the tortilla is also not toasty but burnt. I don't know if this is because the stove top is on too hot or what but it's very annoying and makes the meal not as appealing.

I won't go as far to say as I won't ever go there again but if the owner does read these reviews it would be nice to have the quality...

Solid Burrito, Prices are okay, service is bad. Had service issues multiple times, and gave it a third attempt to no avail. Each and every time I was screwed by random takeout orders from skip or uber or whatever. First time was okay, but the last two times were atrocious. I recall my last visit they took over 20 minutes and me essentially raising my voice to the manager. Waiting is not a problem, but they just forget about the orders and get mixed up? THREE COUPLES WERE SERVED BEFORE ME, WITH MORE COMPLEX ORDERS, ORDERING AFTER ME. How is that even possible? It was a bowl and didn't even need to be wrapped up. Just cook the meat and close the box. After complaining, they then started to cook my meat because my bowl was ignored sitting on the top shelf while she curated seemingly 20 delivery burritos. I'll visit the other locations, but never...
