Burritoz Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Burlington

I just left the store with my usual order that I have. The girl that worked there is not the typical girl that is there. She seemed very clueless to the tortilla bowl that i wanted to order and made a regular bowl. I had stopped her and asked her while pointing at the picture if that was in fact what she was making for me, she then started to remake my order while placing a phone call. During the course of this order she took off her gloves rang out a delivery drivers order while wearing no gloves and touching the persons burrito with her dirty hands and sent him on his way. I then stated that she should change her gloves and she ignored me. She continued to make my bowl (because I gave up on the tortilla bowl after her touching my food with no gloves and didn't wash her hands) and put the same gloves she used the phone with which has had everyone's dirty hair and skin and fingers and continued to make my food. When she cashed me out she took the gloves off placed them beside her and before proceeding to make the Officer (who was behind me) order she went to put THE SAME GLOVES ON. I then said louder "you need to change your gloves before you make his food" and she grabbed them pissed off and walked away. I am so disgusted I don't ever want to go back there this is the second time with the same girl this has happened. Thank you *, for making my food that I am not going to eat. Receipt # 003-1-0047

After going to this place since it opened over 5, maybe 6 years ago - this is the hardest review I've had to write! I've visited almost every Monday and Friday for a long time to order their chicken burrito special.

Today (Monday) I went in and was told I couldn't have refried and black beans together anymore, its one or the other. The previous black beans were just drained beans. The new ones are hanging out in what I'm guessing - the tin can water they came in. Last I heard, beans are pretty freaking cheap so it's not cool that this is a restriction. One of the other reasons I loved going there so often is that they had tomatoes without onion mixed in. They have gotten rid of tomatoes and replaced it with oniony pico - something I can't have due to my stomach issues. If I wanted these kinds of poor topping options, I'd have gone to the other burrito, BBz, chain across the street. Incredibly sad that I'll have to drive further down the street to another place that still keeps tomatoes separate from onions and offers both kinds of beans.

Old review: Still going here since my last review 5 years ago. Food is still good. Really great assortment of toppings. Onion isn't mixed in with anything except the gauc and salsa which is normally something I can't eat anyway so I'm used to it. Prices have gone up almost every year. Right now a large burrito is around $12 unless going on a "Burrito of the Day". Staff is friendly and quick. Never had a burrito fall apart on me yet after all...

Months ago I would have rated them 5 stars, but the quality and service has gone down hill significantly!

We are frequent flyers at burritoz, I mean 1-3 times/week (not proud of it). I'm not sure if they changed management or owners, but all of the staff are newer, and the quality has suffered ever since this change.

I've noticed that they now stuff the burrito with as much rice as possible to make it more "full" and skimp out on everything else. They never fill my large burrito with 2 scoops of meat like they used to (and I've heard previous staff tell newer staff this in training reagarding needing to be 2 scoops). In addition, the staff give attitude if we speak up and ask for more or less of something! I recently went within half hour of closing and everything was being put away (which was fine, still had everything that they needed). But there had been a scoop sitting on top of the meat, with meat in the scoop, for who knows how long. The meat was rock hard and black compared to the rest in the pot, and they used it in my burrito. It was hurting my teeth when I ate it, and I kept having to try and pick it all out. It was disgusting.

Their times are also wrong on google maps, compared to what is shown in their window. I have told staff this many times with no changes.

I could go on and on, but all in all I am extremely disappointed with these changes. I used to rave about Burritoz and told everyone about it. You will be losing lots of business, and just lost 2 very...
