I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Harveys, and I must say that their customer service is beyond abysmal. From start to finish, my experience with them was a mind-boggling exercise in frustration and disappointment.
First and foremost, trying to reach a human being at Harveys is like attempting to find a needle in a haystack. Their automated phone system is an absolute nightmare, forcing you to navigate through a labyrinth of options that never seem to lead to an actual person. It's as if they take pleasure in making their customers jump through hoops just to speak to someone who might be able to help.
When I finally managed to get through to a customer service representative, the incompetence and indifference I encountered were truly astounding. The representative seemed completely disinterested in my issue and provided zero solutions or helpful suggestions. It was as if I was inconveniencing them by daring to seek assistance. Their lack of empathy and basic customer service skills left me feeling utterly disregarded and unimportant.
But wait, it gets worse. Despite clearly explaining my problem, the representative continuously failed to comprehend the issue at hand. I had to repeat myself multiple times, each time growing more frustrated as they seemed incapable of grasping even the simplest of concepts. It felt like I was speaking to a brick wall instead of a supposedly trained professional.
To add insult to injury, when they finally understood my concern, their proposed solution was utterly laughable. It was evident that they had no intention of rectifying the situation or providing any form of satisfactory resolution. Instead, they offered empty promises and half-hearted apologies, essentially telling me to deal with it on my own.
The complete lack of accountability and responsibility exhibited by Harveys' customer service team is nothing short of appalling. It is clear that they have no regard for the satisfaction or loyalty of their customers. Their incompetence and apathy are unmatched, making it abundantly clear that Harveys is not a company that values quality service or customer support.
In conclusion, if you value your time, sanity, and the slightest semblance of decent customer service, I strongly advise against dealing with Harveys. Their lacklustre approach to resolving issues and their complete disregard for customer satisfaction make them a prime example of how not to run a business. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a company that actually cares about...
Read moreVisited this harveys for the first time, and it was absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered. I went through the drive-thru and placed my order paid using the debit machine. My transaction said approved and removed my card. I handed back the machine. a few minutes later, the lady said the transaction didn't go thru. I need you to do it again. I said the machine said it was approved and the ladies' response was well it's not closing on my machine, so you have to do it again. I responded with well let me check my bank account because your machine said it was approved. I then looked at my bank app and saw the transaction I showed the lady the app and that the payment was completed. she said well it's not closing on my machine so it's not there just do it again and the bank will refund you if you pay twice. I said I am not doing that so I than proceeded to call customer service at my financial institution to see if they can see the transaction they confirmed that the payment went through I even had the man on speaker so she could hear that my transaction went through. I said I would like my food please. The lady at the window said I am not giving you your food you have to complete the transaction I said I did I don't know what's happening on your end but the machine said approved, I checked my bank app and even called customer service to verify. this is something you need to figure out on your end. I asked for the manager and she told me she was the manager and I said well you should know how to fix this situation then. And her response was this happens all the time and the bank just refunds you, they won't let you pay twice and my response was I shouldn't have to pay twice and than wait 5 to 7 business days for my refund. If this is a regular occurrence at your location than you need to call and get your debit machines fixed. This manager radwa was very rude and absolutely has the worst customer service skills. She refused to give me my food so I left. I am now out my money and with no food waiting on head office to fix this. I will not go back to that location and I dont recommend anyone else...
Read moreOrder via drive through. I was told to park and my food would be out in 3 minutes. I asked them again to make sure they mean 3 minutes. Got a yes.
I waited ten minutes.
Went in and had to tell them to give me my food. It was just sitting on a counter getting cold.
Gave me lame excuses why they didn't bring it out to me. Driving home the lid came off my root beer (the other drink didn't lose its lid) and the entire thing spilled over - thankfully - on the winter mat on the passenger side. Still took half an hour to clean up everything. Food was cold by the time I got home, tossed the fries. Fairly positive if I didn't go in and demand my food I would have been waiting at least 15+ minutes.
Never coming back here again. If you're going to lie about the time it takes to get the food to a customer why would I ever want to return to the place? If they told me the truth that it would take 10 to 15 minutes I'd have told them no and got something else - at least I'd have returned at some point. No respect for wasting...
