Edit: I’ve realized at other locations that they shake/stir it really well & its only matcha on the top half, and you can stir with the milk on the bottom (no clumps!)- //
Summer 2023: I think the cold Matcha latte needs more care/attention... because it can sometimes be really clumpy in the final product. But, the reason I write this review is because I am a little ticked that this location often has (some) staff that seem annoyed or indifferent if you have any request/discontent about something (and that's not to say that there's always an issue).
Whereas, when I gently mentioned at SFU Surrey Blenz that the cold matcha latte had some powder lumps, the guy took the drink and re-shook it without me even having to ask - I was surprised, and grateful. All of which probably took 1 minute of his time...
Today, I asked at this location about it + if it could be "re-shaken", .....and was told to get a stir stick + felt hostility... I think that shows a great difference in quality service + friendliness - or lack thereof.

Read moreI will glaze this Blenz's until the end of my days. EVERY SINGLE ORDER is always the same outstanding quality. Best Lattes ever on this entire campus. The liquid sugar is complemntary and they will put in as much as you want. The almond croissant is also MIND BLOWING. I genuinely don't know why thier rating is so low when they beat Starbucks and Renaissance Coffee is absolutely everyway. Also, if you have BCAA or Blenz rewards, you can redeem for free dink uprgades and discounts on food, which is something you cannot do at Starbucks since they subcontract to SFU. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Not to mention Blenz's are franchised by local owners, so you are supporting a local business...

They managed to mess up a black coffee. A BLACK COFFEE!!! How do you mess up a black coffee???? Like I’d understand if it were anything more complex, but it is LITERALLY the easiest drink to make in a cafe. All you need to do is to put the correct amount of grounds inside the coffee filter, and select the correct brew setting. I literally do not know how you mess this up.
My $3 black coffee was watery. Watery to the point where I could taste the water more than the coffee. Not even TH is this bad! And TH is AWFUL.
