tl;dr this ain’t it, chief.
Time to add my voice to the chorus. This is going to be an in-depth review, so buckle in.
Part 1: Food
As many other people have mentioned, the portion sizes given at this location are absolutely dismal. Out of the handful of other Chipotle location I have eaten at, this one skimps out on EVERY ingredient.
Not only are the portion sizes small, but they are also inconsistent. My wife and I ordered the exact same bowl at the EXACT same time, built by the SAME girl and we received two different bowls with varying portions of ingredients.
I came back yesterday to see if it was a one-time thing, but unfortunately it was not, and was in fact, worse. Their workstation is messy and there is food spilling all over the place. Food is labelled incorrectly and looks like they aren’t being rotated correctly.
From the past two visits, I have tried their Steak, Carne Asada, and Barbacoa bowls, and their meats are also inconsistent. There are juicy pieces and extremely dry pieces. Some pieces are over-seasoned and some aren’t seasoned at all. Their pico de gallo is rubbery and the tomatoes are over ripe indicated by the plastic texture of the skins. Their guacamole that was served to me was oxidized and not cold.
Part 2: Service
Employees at this location are either not trained or have goldfish brains. Half of them don’t understand English and all of them don’t even know the products that they’re serving.
During my most recent visit, my buddy ordered a Barbacoa bowl and the girl building his bowl proceeded to fill his bowl with Carnitas. She even tried to convince my buddy that he was wrong. When she passed the bowl down the line to the girl doing toppings, she put everything on the bowl without asking him what he wanted and proceeded to close the bowl WITHOUT putting in lettuce.
When I was finished building my bowl (and going through a similar experience), the girl running the till did not know how to operate it. She also didn’t give me any time to order chips and a drink before she asked me to pay. We asked her for a bag THREE times and she could not remember to give it to us.
Staff here are incredibly incompetent and of course they belong to a certain demographic of people who are known to be useless at work.
Management is also incredibly useless as they aren’t even aware of their own policies and are equally incompetent like their bottom-rung employees.
Part 3: Atmosphere
The location is at the newly built Neighborhood 1 of The City of Lougheed. It is spacious with good natural lighting and has ample seating.
And that is where the good things end. Looking at the ceiling, the lighting fixtures look unfinished and are hanging like a 2nd grade science project.
As previously mentioned, the food preparation areas are dirty and lots of cross-contamination happening. The workers don’t seem to care as they are laughing and chatting away in their foreign language while giving minor attention to their customers.
The dining area, while having ample seating, is also messy. While yes, customers do have an unspoken shared obligation to clean up after themselves, it is not requisite for us patrons to clean the floors and the drink area. Tables are never being wiped down, the floors aren’t being swept and the drink area is stickier than a toddler’s toys.
Overall, a terrible experience. Food is sub-par, management is useless, employees are just mindless PR drones. It is evident that the owner is trying make an extra dollar by cutting corners on cleanliness and quality. There are a lot of people talking about how the owner is cheap and mandating the limiting of portions and while this is mainly hearsay at this point in time, I am inclined to agree based on my anecdotal experience.
But like PriceSmart next door, the owner is going to be a coward and not respond to the many negative...
Read moreI accidentally came to this Chipotle on its opening day and was so excited to finally have a friendly and tasty Chipotle near my home. I’ve been coming back ever so often back over time, the customer service has diminished incredibly. Today was the “final straw” and I will not be returning to this chipotle anytime soon.
I came here around 7pm and saw that the first person serving the food in line had bleach stains on their hat and the entire line looked like an another war zone with the amount of food scattered about. By the time I ended at the cashier, I was waiting for my friend to finish gathering his food in line when someone from back of house comes to the front of the line, places their food tray full of Chipotle food and stood in front of the cash register waiting for the cashier to return. My friend arrives at the register and we pay for our food when the cashier arrives. The individual who cut in front was still standing like a statue in front of the POS machine. They were a chipotle employee going on lunch. They cut the line and stood as still as a statue as three paying customers maneuver around asking them to move but they did not. All while another employee arrives to cut the line and do the same.
The floor of the restaurant was filthy with trash cans overfilling. The counters were clean but the rest of the place looked disgusting.
I respectfully understand rush hours happen and customers do whatever they feel they want. But it’s on the restaurant / facility’s staff to ensure it’s kept tidy through thick and thin. There is no care given to the customers or the space for them to eat. Sure the tables were cleaned and tidy but that...

This place is an absolute joke. I ordered a salad, and they forgot the dressing. Annoying, but whatever, mistakes happen. Except they included a paper in my order telling me to call if there was an issue. So I did. Big mistake.
The person on the phone—paper said their name was “Mohit”—was hands down one of the rudest, most incompetent people I’ve ever dealt with. I told them my dressing was missing, and instead of fixing the issue, they insisted they put it in. Well, guess what? It wasn’t there. Then, after arguing with me, they blamed the Uber Eats driver and said they must have stolen it. Really? The driver risked their job to steal a tiny cup of salad dressing? My order was sealed—I have doorbell footage proving it wasn’t touched.
Their “solution”? They wanted me to place ANOTHER order through Uber Eats, pay ANOTHER outrageous delivery fee, just to get the dressing they forgot in the first place. Are you kidding me? I told them I just wanted the salad I paid for, and they couldn’t have cared less. Rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for their own mistake.
Why even tell customers to call if you’re just going to argue and do absolutely nothing? This place has garbage customer service and clearly no clue how to run a business. If they can’t handle something as simple as including dressing with a salad, I can only imagine what else they’re screwing up in the kitchen.
Avoid this place at all costs. Plenty of restaurants actually care about their customers—this one...
