Was craving some pizza for lunch and decided to give this pizzeria in Burnaby a try. Geno’s seems to be very highly rated and today we gave it a try. We ordered a House Special medium pizza. I have to say, that after trying it I can see why it is highly rated. It is a solid pizza in that the crust is very airy and crisp and the toppings are pretty reasonable and plentiful. Price wise, for 22$, that’s honestly a good price for what you get. Nice amount of cheese and meat, the sauce is good with a hint of tanginess to it. The crust was delicious and the olives and peppers go well with it. I’ll definitely come back and try other pizzas at this location and their 50 layer lasagna which I found intriguing. Very satisfied and happy with Geno’s pizzeria!

According to my recollection, this location has always been a pizza joint. After a 2 year absence from Vancouver it seemed to have changed owners. The middle eastern run the fast pizza and dough game in Vancouver. Thought I give it a try after seeing the cool light-box. The young waiter suggests that it could be family owned. I ordered a medium veggie deluxe for around $20 something dollars. Since I was the last customer it came out speedier than I thought. The dough was good but I would have liked it a little crispier on the bottom. Loads of cheese which was a positive. They weren’t cheap on the fixing either. I will come back and try the jalapeño veggie poppers. I wonder if they have thin crust?

I had the pleasure of trying a pizza from Geno's Pizza's last night, and it was absolutely fantastic! The pizza was cooked to perfection with a golden, crispy crust that had just the right amount of chew. The toppings were generous, fresh, and bursting with flavor – you can tell Geno's Pizza's takes pride in their ingredients. The balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings was spot-on, making every bite delicious. The service was just as impressive. The guy working there was friendly, and the pizza arrived hot and on time. If you’re looking for a pizza place that consistently delivers on quality and taste, Geno's Pizza's is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for more!

*Geno’s Pizza *

Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, Genos Pizza promises a slice of culinary bliss with its tantalizing array of pizzas available for take-out. Intrigued by the raving reviews, I decided to indulge in a little slice of happiness myself.

Pizza Ordered: Opting for the classics cheese, veggie and meat lovers , I anticipated a comforting treat to enjoy in the comfort of my own home.

Presentation: Upon opening the box, the aroma of freshly baked dough and savory toppings greeted me, promising a flavorful experience. The pizza, adorned with generous pizza sauce and gooey mozzarella, looked every bit as enticing as promised.

Texture: The crust struck a perfect balance between crispy and chewy, providing a satisfying bite with every mouthful. Toppings were generously scattered, ensuring a delightful blend of textures in every bite.

Service and Experience: The ordering process at Geno’s was seamless, with friendly staff ensuring a quick and hassle-free experience. The convenience of take-out, coupled with the delectable pizzas on offer, makes Geno’s a top choice.

Value for Money: With its generous portions of toppings and unbeatable taste, Geno’s offers excellent value for money. The joy it brings is priceless.

Final Thoughts: Every aspect of the experience was a delight. I wholeheartedly recommend Geno’s to any pizza lover craving a taste of heaven in the comfort of their own home and...

Update: Gave it another try and what a difference! Cooked wonderfully, less sauce, less conservative toppings. Just better through and through! I guess i just got unlucky the first time around. I will leave the old review for the sake of continuity. Good job hotspot, im glad to have you guys in the neighborhood.

Awh man. I really didnt want to be the first person to not give a 5 star review and I really, really wanted to love the spot because I live only a couple blocks away. On the plus side, the place was staffed by a friendly guy and the pizza was ready super quick. Unfortunately the pizza itself just didnt taste like it should have. Maybe I got unlucky given all the gleaming reviews. The crust was still a bit raw in the center and hadn't really crisped up or risen. As such it was more akin to a heavy whole wheat breadstick. It just didnt taste like a pizza crust at all, none of the airiness, none of the flavor... just sort of chewy and about half risen. For being a pepperoni lovers, the pepperoni was also really sparse, my family thought it was a cheese pizza until after we finished and I told them what it was. As a result the sauce made up most of the flavor. I'm not a food critic by any means, nor was I expecting a gourmet pizza by any stretch of the imagination, just a decent budget pie, the likes of many hole in the wall places around vancouver. Unfortunately it just didnt hold up...

This place is definitely a new hidden gem in North Burnaby! If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it. I loved their pizza crust – it’s not too thick but also not thin like Brooklyn-style pizza. I’m not sure of the style, but the dough is airy yet chewy, with just the right amount of fluff. The crust was perfectly baked, light and fluffy, with slightly charred pepperoni that was cooked just right, without being burnt.

I live nearby, and the new, clean look and eye-catching logo kept grabbing my attention. It has an old-school vibe with a modern touch inside, which is a great twist. We ordered the pepperoni pizza to start, and it was fantastic. Not overloaded with cheese, with the pepperoni layered both under and over the cheese, making it flavorful but not overwhelming. I’ll definitely be back – overall, 10/10!

I was a bit disappointed they didn’t offer dipping sauces, but the pizza was so good I didn’t even miss them. Young guys in the shop were very nice!

I also bought their cake in a jar, but have yet to try it. Too full for tonight! But wanted to make sure I wrote this review...
