We decided to try this place for dinner tonight since it’s new and we hadn’t been before. Safe to say, we will not be returning.
The server was completely clueless. We chose the buffet option, and our server told us drinks were complimentary and asked what we would like. I asked what the options were—like, are all drinks included? She confidently says yes, listing everything from soft drinks to wine. So I asked, “does that mean all alcoholic drinks are complimentary?” Again, she said. We told her we’d take a look at the menu, and she said okay—then completely disappeared.
When she finally returned, we ordered cocktails, only for her to hesitate and say, “Umm… oh, I don’t think those are included. Do you want the red wine instead?” At this point, we were already confused, but we said sure. A little while later, she came back and told us, “actually, we don’t have red wine.” So I asked, “okay… what do you have?” She said “white wine.” So we went with that, and she brought it out in tiny plastic cups.
Now, the food. Easily one of the worst buffet experiences I’ve had. There were barely any options, and even those weren’t worth it.
The rice was nearly gone when we got there, and they never refilled it. The little that was left was hard. The butter chicken was strangely soft, almost like it was undercooked. The chili chicken? I took one bite, and the meat was so dark and tasted so off that I honestly don’t think it was even chicken. That was disturbing. The pasta and veggie soup both had the same frozen vegetables dumped into them. The sweet and sour soup was basically soy sauce and ketchup mixed with cornstarch and frozen veggies.
After suffering through that meal, we just wanted to leave, but getting the bill turned into another ordeal. The server wouldn’t bring it over forever, so we went up to the front to pay. Then she starts cussing in front of us and told us she couldn’t check us out because the other server is logged into the POS system. So we asked, “okay… where is this other server? And she says, oh, she went to the washroom.
We waited over 15 minutes for this other server to return. If she was going to be gone that long, she should’ve logged out of the system.
Then our server handed me back my phone (which I had asked her to charge behind the desk), she accidentally dropped my charger brick. Not a problem at all—but she immediately starts cussing again.
Between the terrible food and the completely unprofessional service, we’re never coming back. We regret not just going to the Indian place near our house instead. This was a total waste of...

Read more--edit Jun 2024-- Came here on June 30 for their lunch buffet. The stand alone sign outside still says $15.99 lunch buffet. I noticed they had 2 extra things - cocktail samosas and chicken wings. When we went to pay it was $18.99 for Canada day buffet. There was no sign for this outside and they just charge without informing anyone. When we left we noticed they took away the sign that said $15.99. Terrible business practice.
--May2024-- Buffet still 15.99 Different items now. They have spring rolls too.
--Mar 2024-- I think I've found my go to Indian ayce place! Nothing too fancy but good price point and good taste.
Theres only 8 items in the main area with salad and raita. The items are not full to the brim so it runs out quickly. You have to tell the server to ask them to refill. It takes about 10 min. I think they would need to do this faster if there were more people at the restaurant. When I went, there were only 4 tables doing the buffet.
The server will ask if you want naan or roti with your meal. I only tried the naan and wow it was delicious. It's thinner than I'm used to but it was freshly made and chewy.
They dont skimp on the ingredients. The meats have lots of meat. I remember going to many other indian ayce and its just a tub of curry and you have to fish for pieces of meat.
The chicken, paneer, goat dishes were all really good. Mix the delicious raita for an even more creamy flavor. I think they rotate dishes because I've seen different ones in other's pictures. The gulab jamun was ok.
There's a sign for parking in the back but we parked on the side so not sure how many...
