Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Burnaby

AVOID! This place is very interesting, out of my 5 pizzas, 3 have skimpy or no toppings/ or improper uneven cooking or placing of toppings or huge crust (do you like raw dough? no or missing topping on one side, no, it was ordered like that right, no) when making complaints to their area manager they flat out told me they cannot fix the issue based on " video" they make on their orders.( interesting hey). These guys or gals are very unique, every time there is an issue with the pizza its a fight to prove to them there is indeed an issue last time I had to show a photo of the last time they made it ( WHY? do I need to show a photo). When complaining to the area manager, Not only are they arrogant at the area manager level ( yeah the guy in charge of multiple stores) they flat out don't get it or understand the basics of dealing with customers or complaints which fundamentally provides feedback to fix products and services, corporations pay money for this advise. You cannot run a food business being a cheapskate which they are 100% so don't expect to get any product worth money even worth a cent from these people. The average material cost of a pizza is about 1.90 to make and sells for 14 bucks so 636% markup, obviously making the 636% isn't enough for these guys. I highly doubt Pizza pizza corporate/ themselves should want these folks splashing around the brand image with their current attitude to customers which are always wrong. I can only laugh at these people. Good luck to you you WILL need it tell your owner as well he or she will need plenty of luck with you to survive with joker " area managers" in charge. Also reading the positive reviews they look like a cheer leading squad of paid actors probably this "area manager" writing positive reviews, beware of that, look at lowest ranking probably real, stick to toronto for this franchise and try to find a way to get your money back when they obviously have no concept or clue about product satisfaction. Quite possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in my life. After ordering a 3 topping pizza and waiting 20 minutes we tried to ask how much longer the order would take as we were trying to order a cab home. After several attempts to gain the employees attention while he was eating food at the back of the store he told us he was "cutting it right now" so we ordered a cab. When he called our order we listed our 3 toppings to confirm and he stared at us with a blank face and said, and I quote " uhhhh............. yeah" immediately being suspicious we checked our pizza and it was incorrect and our prosciutto had been replaced with mushrooms. When we informed the employees this was incorrect, they told us proscutto wasnt on the menu anymore. They only told us this after we told them our pizza was wrong. God knows why they decided mushrooms of all toplings to substitute without asking. Not having time to have our order fixed as we had allready communicated we were ordering a cab we desperately attempted to bargin to get some single slices instead since we could not wait for the pizza we paid for. We were then told we could only get 4 slices. In our hurry we got slices we didn't want, and it wasn't until later we realized we were completely ripped off as we paid 20$ for 4 slices when they are 2 for 6$ normal price.

I finished moving house last night and didn't have any food at my house. It was late so I had to order a pizza. These guys were the nearest place open for delivery. So I get the cauliflower crust pizza that's a monthly deal for 21.99 It didn't list the size but I figured it to be atleast a large. I ordered it as I never tried it with the vegetarian chorizo and vegan cheese. I added 3 toppings for around 4$ to bring the subtotal to 24.99 they add delivery fee and tax and it's up to about 30$. About 40 minutes later the driver arrives with my order carrying a muchsmuch box than I expected. I tip him 4$ bringing the grand total to 34$. Now let's get to the pizza. It's lukewarm/cold on arrival. Very thin and hard tasting dough, crust was like trying to eat week old stale bread. But the amount of vegan cheese they dumped on was incredible and just formed a flare white sticky blob over the top of the pizza. Also very very skimpy on the other toppings I payed extra for. The pizza tasted disgustinly salty it's all I could taste and I had to force it down out of sheer hunger and lack of options at this point. I managed to finish half of it before calling it quits and throwing it away. Worst 35$ I ever...
