TRASH service. Wish we read the negative reviews before we drove 30 mins to eat here. We initially ordered at the cashier for dine-in just to be told that we can’t do that if we don’t have a seat already. Never heard of a place where you had to claim a seat yourself and then get up and order at a cashier if you want to dine in - what if you want to sit but don’t have a second person with you to claim your seat for you? Make it make sense LOL. It was full (Saturday 10pm) so of course we didn’t order dine in (well, we couldn’t even if we wanted to…) so we ordered for takeout and said if we see a seat we’ll take it. We did this because we saw a bunch of tables finishing up so it made sense that we would order and then take a seat when one is available in a few minutes. We get our food and see a seat open up - we sit down and the lady who took our order immediately hustles over to us to inform me that we can’t sit here because our food is take out. When asked why, her answer was “it’s the rules”. When I explained that we had a 30 minute drive home and don’t want to have melted ice for dessert, she still didn’t care and said we had to leave. What? I’ve never heard of any restaurant doing this. If that’s your rule, you should be seating people yourselves before they order or get rid of your seats completely. Or, maybe post your “rules” in bold and 200-size font so people don’t pay before learning of them. We wouldn’t have ordered if we knew that we weren’t allowed to sit down… Don’t bother going here - they’re not worth your money. Hope the person who made these “rules” sees this review and perhaps improves...
Read moreIf I can give this 0 star ⭐️ would. If you are not Korean don’t come here. Racist and rude service.
Yes admit that the food is good but it’s not over the top to make me not remember the bad experience I had.
Why?
Let me tell you.
I can’t believe that in year 2022, you can still experience racism this way.
We came in with my family. ( Non Koreans) , Found a sit . And a few of us went to Order in the counter. The guys seems likes wasn’t happy to see us. When I talked I made sure that it’s loud and clear and that I’m using their provided microphone, but he still kept on saying “I can’t understand you.” With a frowning face. Eyeing me and my other family members in unfriendly way. I have to keep on repeating to him. And tried speaking louder. He then sighed. And repeated our orders. I said that’s correct. He then said, no more table for me ... but I showed him where my mom’s sitting at. He sigh disappointed. I’m not sure what’s his problem. But after waiting for our orders he gave us the wrong one. I said that’s not our order but he reasoned out that because I didn’t speak well.???? Omg even repeat it to us. He refused to give us the correct ones. And even eye rolls at us after we left the counter.
He is so rude the whole time.
I wanted my old parents to try the Korean desserts but this guy ruined the experience for them . The whole mood was so bad.
Very unwelcoming for non Korean ., specially for...
Read more1 star for their cleanliness & customer service, or lack thereof. Our party arrived here 8:30pm on a Saturday evening. It was full, so we decided to wait for a table to clear up before making our order. When a table finally opened up, the party who sat there previously didn't return their used bowls & trays to the return area. No problem, we cleared the table and returned the used dishes to the proper designation. Now we're left with a dirty table, so we politely asked the cashier after we placed our order if they can sanitize the table for us (we are in a pandemic after all). The cashier paused for a second and told us that we can sanitize it ourselves if we wanted to. She then handed us some napkins and pointed us to where the sanitizing spray was. I was taken aback since I didn't think that was our job. There wasn't even a queue of people behind us. Never mind that we're currently in a pandemic and the very least an establishment could do is sanitize each table after each patron leaves to make them feel safe. But it's just a courtesy and an ode to overall hygiene & cleanliness being in the restaurant business. It's a shame because while they offer unique bingsu's, I will never go back here because of the bitter taste they left...
