Burger King — Restaurant in Caledon

Another BK location off my list. There's a reason for all the bad reviews. Employee doing expo was moving at a snails pace.....,literally....like any of us who have ever worked in the service industry would be in pain watching her move..... It was NOT busy and I stood there watching her casually put a drive thru order together while my order sat waiting to be bagged. She somehow managed to get around to packing it up....the only order there, looked at me with my handful of napkins, and proceeded, with lead arms, slowly pull napkins out of the dispenser and into the bag.... That wasn't even the deal breaker for me. It was, while we were moving in slow motion, I asked for ketchup and zesty sauce, she tells me zesty sauce is .50 extra.....never....never has any BK ever charged me extra for zesty sauce....after spending $20 on a meal, you wanna charge me .50 for an ounce of spicy mayo? Nope....done 2 stars for a clean washroom (which was free to use) and quick and accurate...

Based on our most recent visit, I'm done. The food was blah, got the double whopper combo, burger sucked, fries sucked. My kids didn't even eat half of the food it was so blah. The whole time we were there I was fighting an army of ants that were eating scraps off the floor and carrying it away, right at our feet..... Inside the restaurant. So I start looking closer at the general tidiness of the place and it's actually pretty nasty. I understand we aren't dining at the Ritz but the quality has gone way way down in pretty much every aspect. Also to note, there should be some form of protection from vehicles entering the building. A vehicle parked approx 6 feet from me while I'm sitting inside the restaurant. If anything went wrong that vehicle would go right through the window. It just happened at another restaurant in alliston. Should have bollards installed to help prevent this from happening. On a positive note, the nice lady that took our order was very pleasant...

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this Burger King location. I specifically ordered a Whopper Chicken Sandwich, and even made sure to tell the lady at the counter clearly that I wanted chicken, not beef. However, I was served a beef Whopper instead.

Unfortunately, I only realized this after taking two bites — which was already enough to break my religious beliefs and personal feelings. This was not just a simple mistake with food; it was something that deeply hurt me.

I even have dash cam video clearly showing that I ordered a chicken sandwich. I’m not writing this review for a replacement meal or refund — this is about responsibility, respect, and trust.

Such mistakes can have serious emotional and religious consequences, and I sincerely hope Burger King takes this issue seriously and trains staff to handle orders with more care...
