In the past, I would have given a higher rating but after the incident today, I feel that the business took advantage of my teen. We go here as a treat as it is out of our way. My teen always runs in to grab the drinks. Once we both drank a bit, we realized there were no pearls. My teen also said that the clerk had asked if she wanted toppings and my teen said no. I have never heard of pearls being called toppings. (She had ordered 2 Oreo Macchiato milk teas). I would have been ok if the bill had of been less. When I compared the price to last time, it was over 2$ increase for the exact same drinks (but this time neither drinks had pearls). When I called, the clerk said that she had asked if she wanted toppings and my teen said no. I said, “it is bubble tea, who calls pearls toppings, a topping is whipped cream but besides that, we should not have been charged so much more than our last purchase. She stated that it was an overall price increase but I could come back to be refunded for the no pearls. Since it is out of our way, to drive back would be a waste of time. When I compared the menu, they have increased all their drinks by 1.00$. This family can’t justify 7.50 for a drink and certainly not when it appears that the clerk took advantage of a youth thinking they could overcharge them by giving...
Read moreDrinks are ok, way too sweet and the staff often forget to ask you how much sugar so the default is way too much. The hot food is absolutely terrible. We ordered the Inglewood Special that supposed to be a mix of different fish, won tons, spring rolls and chicken. About 10 minutes after we ordered they let us know they were out of chicken and asked if we’d like extra fish, what a mistake that was. When the food came out it was served with ketchup and no utensils. Took them a while to find us forks so judging by the empty restaurant I don’t think many people eat in. Finally opened the top of my dine in takeaway container to find a mass of unidentifiable breaded fried meats. First bite was a piece of chicken that they told us they didn’t have. Couldn’t even kill the off flavour with the afore mentioned ketchup. Then I tried the next breaded morsel of something to to find some sort of fish patty that must have been left out as the smell of rotten fish hit me before the taste did. I immediately closed the lid went back to the counter to be told they don’t issue refunds. I stood my ground and after the girl at the counter called a bunch of different numbers she eventually refunded the Inglewood Special. Don’t bother eating here, it’s a waste...
Read moreHave I ever heard of this place? No. Do I think this place would sell Pho? No. Did I like Pho here after I tried it? Absolutely yes!!!!!
I stopped by this place on my way home and I was not let down. I rarely review food online, but I think it would be a sin if no one knows about this place, so here I am sharing the amazing experience with both the food and service here so that you guys have an idea what I'm talking about. The pho here is really aromatic and delicious. The broth was crystal clear and the meat really fresh imo. Having this pho really reminded of the time when I actually had pho in Vietnam, and I am still in shock about how authentic the pho here Canada could be so similar. The staffs here were also really friendly and helpful. The manager (I think) really enthusiastically walked me through the menu and he recommended I getting the dalgona drink and I really like it also. Probably one hidden gem in the middle of Calgary! I would definitely recommend this place for those who want to try authentic Vietnamese food as well as good drinks,...
