This was my first visit. My partner and I ordered chicken burritos and they were filling and somewhat edible, however, there was a slight fishy aftertaste in mine that I was curious about. It led me to believe that some of the items in my burrito came into contact with fish. Huge turnoff for me.
Another major issue I had with this place was the terrible communication from the servers. The person I was trying to order from could not communicate clearly in English and this was exacerbated by the masks. When I come to patronize a place that I am paying money to, I expect the communication to be clear, concise and correct. Not a bunch of mumbling in some foreign, bastardized dialect of English. If you cannot communicate due to being forced to wear a mask, maybe you could lift the mask slightly or speak louder, one of the two. The whole experience at that phase was a gong show and happened only by virtue of confusing hand signals.
On top of all that, I ordered cheese on my burrito, and the server was extremely cheap with his scoop of shredded cheese which he did not fill completely. So I politely asked for a bit more which would have topped off the original scoop. Immediately a woman behind the counter intercepted my request and stated to me point blank that there would be an extra charge for that. I replied "I just want a little bit more, not a lot" to which she countered with "We can only give a complete scoop at a time". How ridiculous is this for an answer I thought? Unprofessional behavior and aggressive attitudes towards paying customers don't bode well in business in my experience especially in the food business. This place violates many professional business standards and the glaring one was to throw together your food item as quickly as possible and if you're not paying attention, you will notice that they are cheaping out on some items such as cheese on purpose in an effort to raise their profit margin. There is nothing smooth about this operation at all. Wham Bam!
Compared to the careful and meticulous method in which Subway sandwich artists construct a sandwich, these people have a lot to learn.
So having said all that, would I visit here again? Not too sure, but definitely not to this location. I would visit another store to give the place a second chance to redeem themselves in my book and maybe they could step up and serve me in the fashion that patrons deserve to be served.
I have dined at Mucho Burrito before which was far superior to this in all respects, hands down, so I would definitely lean in their direction first.
Think twice about eating here.

Read moreRecommend by a friend. Disappointed that my stomach wasn’t bigger! Haha😂😂 HaHa...These burritos are HUGE! I ordered a large burrito and the dude working told me I get three scoops of meat, and said that I can mix and match. I choose the ground beef, the pulled pork and the spicy chicken. I loaded it up with all the fixins and threw on some guacamole after the staff gave me a sample on a chip and said it’s made fresh throughout the day and probably the best one you’ve ever tasted. Glad I got the guac as That guac is one of the freshest I’ve ever had. Asked for the signature hot sauce and the burrito sauce, seriously....that hot sauce ain’t no joke 🔥🔥...what a great flavour profile, and the burrito sauce I could even drink it...it’s that good. Seriously, this thing weighed more than a small baby. !!! Grabbed a coconut water for the true tropical experience and dined inside. The restaurant was Clean and smelled like pinesol. Next time I’ll try the fish tacos as the owner said they are San Diego style and highly recommended them. The owner ( bald guy with the tattoos) mentioned gym members from the nearby gyms get a discount, just show your tag. I will be back as this is healthy , fresh, meets my Macros and HUGE and very budget friendly, Id be happy to pay more. 👏👏 They also have burritos on Monday’s for...
Read moreDISAPPOINTED! We went to BarBurrito to have food, but the service experience was extremely disappointing. When we entered, the staff member (female employee wearing glasses) did not acknowledge us and continued refilling pickles. After almost two minutes, she finally looked up and said a very casual “hi,” which felt unprofessional.
When we asked for a moment before ordering, she gave us a strange look. Once we placed the order, her attitude remained dismissive—she spoke in a rushed tone (“okay”) and then disappeared into the kitchen. The overall interaction made us feel disrespected and unwelcome.
We decided to cancel our order because of this inappropriate service. Instead of understanding, the staff mentioned they had already started making fries. We politely said we no longer wanted food from your store, as the service was unacceptable. Shockingly, as we were leaving, the staff laughed among themselves, which was the final straw.
This level of unprofessionalism is not what any customer should experience. Basic courtesy, respect, and professionalism were completely missing. Truly...
