So yesterday june 3, at about 2-3pm. Decided to attend the store and went to the grill city. Asked a young man for 4 bbq pork and i guess they started using a cheap plastic and when he gave it he Did not wrap it in saran wrap. I also got this small container. As i was about to proceed to the cashier the bbq pork FELL ON THE FLOOR Another customer helped me to pick it up. The staff did not see or acknowledge the incident. I requested another 4 bbq pork , the young lady cashier wrapped in saran wrap with the cheap plastic. As i approached the cashier she was going to double charge me on the bbq.. in a loud voice i told her i am not paying for this fallen bbq pork that hit the floor. So in a scared way she called the supervisor and manager. As the manager too the time yo analysis the situation.. he removed the double charge and said its not our fault but he would allow it.. i was pissed off. I dont play the blame game.. but to not notice a food falling to the floor and i didnt pay yet. And they didnt clean it right away. Plus i saw the manager put the fallen pork under the till of the cashier. So i been there before but to have this experience... my trust is diminished.
Have your employees improve on customer service and have all employees improve on FOOD SAFTEY. I know food containers are expensive now and days but those plastic they have not suitable for those hot foods..so maybe they should review on food storage of hot foods. Which is a food safety issue... i have some some food safety training so i know. If i bet ya a health inspection saw everything even my incident probably a high chance the store will have a low rating...
Know that this store should keep up with Canadian standards and not just things from the...
Read moreThis actually happened months ago, but I have been thinking about it even since. My family and I were grabbing and dinner at grill city everything was okay the food is fine, but mid dinner one of my family member’s started to CHOKE on their and obviously our instinct is to grab a cup and take WATER. We didn’t intend on not pay for the cup because obviously it wasn’t for free, however (I believe it was the manager not exactly sure what his name was) instead of that person asking what happened and why we took a cup and used it before paying, he approached us quite in a embarrassing way because all he said was that we had to pay for the cup while other customers are looking. Mind you other customers were looking the whole time because he, instead of being more clear that we had to pay at that instant, stood close our table as though we were thieves for a SINGLE CUP THAT WAS $3. Just for the future, please do not approach your customers like this. We wanted to say why my family member took the cup but was not given the opportunity to do so. This creates, at least for my family, an image as if we have done something so terrible. We spent more than $60 on food yet was PUPPY GUARDED for a drink. If you really were the manager, I do not know how you did not find this embarrassing. Because of this my family and I have lost the interest to come back to at least that part of the store or coming into contact with that specific person (AKA-The person who was more concerned for a CUP than the person who...
Read moreSome but not all, employees at the Crispy Town have the most unpleasant and rudest attitudes toward customers, first I've ever encountered so far in a business establishment in Canada. Hire a supervisor that is great at his or her job, with high respect towards customers and must have at least good ethical behavior regarding his job. The current guy acting as their supervisor must be fired, the corporate must have a thorough investigation about how this manager/supervisor handles situation in times of inconveniencing paying customers. He must not direct his staff to take a photo of a customer, who is upset because of their mismanagement. Is that how you train your employees? To ask your employees to take a photo of someone without permission only because that person show his or her frustrations after waiting for more than hour for an order but never given and received? Instead of pacifying the matter and apologizing for inconvenience? Then for what, upload the photo on social media to belittle and destroy someone's reputation? How dissapointing that phone is allowed while working. Sometimes it's not all about being good with their work, hire people also who are great in customer service. Never again be going to that place, there are other businesses out there who respect customer's privacy and satisfy the needs of...
