Went for our anniversary . Took 10 mins to be seated n we were literally the only people there other than the one waitresses kid in the corner .. then we got seated .. took a few mins for drinks which is fine .. however . Ladies kid n other person at the table got thier food WAY before we did n then an old couple came in n the other waitress with the kid at her table .. had thier drinks n food within 10 mins .. again even before we got ours .. oh n then .. we had to ask for salt n pepper .. fine .. but then my husband actually had to go get it himself .. the onions rings i had were hard n the beer my husband had .. he said it tasted weird n the bottle itself had like crud n lines like its been sittin .. my sandwich was unappealn .. i didnt even eat it i jist ate the chicken .. we actually left .. walked to coop n got bologna n eggs .. it was a waste of an uber trip and a waste of money .. my husband used to looooove ur food .. well . Read moreThe barbecue at Big T's is great. The smoked brisket, ribs and chicken I have tried have all been excellent- tender, and full of flavour. However, Big T's would really benefit from having better quality with other elements of their meals. For instance, the buns used for sandwiches are reminiscent of bread from Subway- soft, with no flavour whatsoever. Also, I love a good potato salad, but the potato salad at Big T's is honestly worse than read- made potato salads from grocery stores. The dressing is totally devoid of flavour and the potatoes are cut into such microscopic little pieces that they end up having no real texture. It begs for some fresh herbs and a bit of acidity. Lastly, I know barbecue takes time and knowledge to get right, but even considering that, Big T's is still much too expensive. Every time I've eaten there, I've seen $14+, and I've felt...

Staff were all super friendly and helpful.
We opted for the 2 meat meal with pulled pork and dusted rib ends along with poutine and beans for our sides. We felt it was good value for the money as we couldn't finish everything. I really enjoyed both meats couldn't pick a favourite there (neither could my wife). As for sides beans were the winner there, with fries slightly underdone but overall nothing that would throw a good meal off. Finally, saving the best for last, that cornbread!! HOLY we could have just eaten a pan of it.
