Boardwalk Burgers - Calgary Southland — Restaurant in Calgary

Extremely BAD service in this restaurant on Southland Crescent, So called Manager said the drinks are not fillable, fountain machine was broken and the workers making extremely annoying noises while customers eating inside. Definitely would not recommend this branch, Manager was very RUDE and did not provide Refill of the drinks. Took about 20 minutes to get the order and then dirty environment. Double thumb DOWN for this Restaurant and BAD Customer service with annoying sounds inside and the so called Manager was very RUDE. WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS BRANCH EVER.

I did not threaten with bad reviews, this what I have experienced. Even this so called Manager was saying we don't allow refills whereas this goes against the Boardwalk policies. Probably I have to take the next step as well. I'll Call Calgary City Official and ask them to do a thorough inspection of this facility and review the licensing requirements for such. I'll also Call Canadian Federal Inspections branch to assess my comments about this facility. I'll also contact Baordwalk Management to re-interview the Manager of this facility who was saying that he would stop anyone getting refills for the drinks.

I have experienced and written what I saw, observe, communicate and assess. This so called manager was Rude, Fountain machine was broken this is exactly what the workers said and they didn't want to give the bottled drink with the food that had the drink included in the meal. I'll send some friends to order a meal and I'll see if this manager stops them from taking refills and will report again.

Your RUDENESS is another thing that needs to highlighted for the customers who expect a high quality standards as well as polite customer service experience. He named me free bees, which is an idiotic thing to do by the so called manager and ask the workers, didn't I pay for the full order and waited almost 20 minutes for the order to be served and then we waited another 5 minutes for the drinks but he didn't serve the drinks, then I had to go again and ask for the drinks two times.

I would urge all the people who eat at this facility, please report such RUDE behavior to authorities so that every one who pays from their pocket expect a excellent customer service otherwise food is available at multiple...

So just to be clear, the manager clearly felt the need to come on here and argue my review instead of addressing the problem. To be clear, the burger was a regular adult cheeseburger, and was child sized and pathetic. The person took my order was also cooking, and instead of going to the back and getting my order started after taking it, she instead took the next order, completed their order, then went back and started mine. There for I was in there for an additional 5-10 minutes due to her poor customer service. The people coming in after me should have waited. Also, the food was not only overpriced but disgusting. The managers rebuttle trying to get me to change my review is insane. I've eaten at other boardwalk locations and got the same garlic Parm fries and they were amazing and delicious. These were disgusting fries that were soggy, not cooked properly, and dripping in grease. So I'm going to continue with my review the way it is, now more clear. So also remember if you get bad service here, instead of the manager doing something about it, they'll justify their poor service and quality.

The one taking the orders was the only one working, therfore she was the only one taking orders and cooking in the kitchen. I ordered and she took someone else's and made there's prior to going back to start my order. Extremely disappointing. Then I paid 6$ for a child's cheeseburger barely the size of my palm and the fries taste like stale fries mixed in with...

Stopped in for a burger on a Monday night. I was pretty hungry so I got a classic burger and a spicy chicken burger combo. The service was excellent, the food came fast, and everything was very clean, including the men's washroom, table tops and floors. The highlight of the meal was the chicken sandwich, which was perfectly crispy and seasoned real chicken breast, topped with crunchy fresh lettuce and the right amount of spicy mayo and jalapenos. The fries were also similarly excellent. The fountain drink was cold and had plenty of carbonation, which is a precious rarity in fast food these days. The classic burger also had similar fantastic lettuce and tomato toppings, and a firm and dense (but not dry) bun clearly designed to hold everything together. The only miss was the hamburger patty, which was underwhelming and a bit lackluster in comparison to the superb chicken burger. I don't know what to say about the patty except that making that a double or adding cheese won't fix it. Also, the ladies washroom was out of order while I was there, which they hopefully will fix soon. Overall a great experience though and worth going back to, if only for the chicken...
