I came into the Saddletowne location Boston Pizza today and shortly said, itâs was one of the most appalling experiences Iâve ever had with ANY restaurant . First things first, the server who initially took our order, took 10 minutes before even taking our drink order because she was too occupied conversating with the hostess about personal matters. Secondly, when she finally came around to take the order, she had the worst attitude and stated âsorry for the long waitâ while rolling her eyes. Immediately I caught onto her attitude and from that point my dining experience was already ruined. After taking our order she asked if âthat was allâ. As I replied âyes that would be allâ, I handed her the menus and she apparently felt âdisrespectedâ, so replied âokayâ with a stank attitude, rolled her eyes again, and walked away. Not even a minute later, a new server named Sierra, who also claims to be the manager, approached our table saying she would be taking over our order because the initial server felt disrespected. When I asked for her to elaborate on the matter, she wasnât able to do so and claimed her server was âshaking in the backâ from dealing with us? When all we did was give our order? I explained to this so called âmanagerâ her employees attitude when initially greeting us, and instead of resolving the issue, she decided to tell us that âno one will be checking her staffs attitudeâ and that âthey will not tolerate disrespect towards their staffâ even though no one disrespected her. She said she would be happy to continue to serve us but by that point, I decided that this establishment would not be getting my money. We cancelled our order and before leaving, asked to speak with the manager. Sierra then came out, and immediately became defensive to the constructive criticism we offered. She began to laugh in my mothers face, which quickly escalated into her YELLING in my mothers face saying that we would not be welcomed back to this location (I wasnât planning on returning regardless). When I asked for the initial servers name, she said she would not be disclosing that information, and that we were apparently âharrassingâ her staff. As we were leaving, employees stood by the window taunting us, yelling at us through the window, and one girl had the audacity to stick her middle finger up at us as we left, with a big smile on her face. Thankfully, I got a picture of the 2 individuals who ran to the back when they saw they had been caught on camera. The photos attached proves the authenticity of this review. I will be submitting letters to headquarters, as well as making calls to make sure this issue is followed up on, and from the reviews that Iâve read, their quality of customer service is a clear ongoing issue, as well as issues such as WORMS in food, and much more. We had informed our waitress and had admitted to punching in the kids combo. She had said that she was going to return with a whole new plate of food with the correct size of combo, but instead brought out two separate plates, one being two extract chicken strips and the other being a plate of fries, which led our table to be full of unnecessary plates. We had also ordered the Boston Pizza Bread topped with cheddar cheese and a side dip of ranch. Instead, we received the Boston Pizza Bread with no cheese and no ranch. The cheese was on a separate dish and had gotten pizza sauce. We called the waitress over and had explained the problem, and she had stated that we said we didnât want the cheese melted onto the bread, which in fact was not true. The Boston Pizza Bread was our starter dish, but since the waitress add punched that in last, we got that last. When we got our bill, she had punched in a regular chicken strip combo even though we had received the kids combo. We had asked for the manager and explained what had gone wrong, and he had changed the price back to the kids combo and when we told him about the pizza bread, he was utterly shocked. What was supposed to be an enjoyable meal turned into an infuriating ordeal, thanks to the astonishingly poor customer service and the blatant disrespect they faced from the manager. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the staff was uninterested in providing even basic hospitality. However, the real shock came when the manager stepped in â instead of addressing our concerns with professionalism, they were outright rude and dismissive. Their tone and attitude were nothing short of condescending, leaving my family humiliated in front of other patrons. Itâs one thing for a restaurant to have an off day, but when the person in charge shows zero understanding of customer service, it reflects the culture of the entire establishment. We left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and incredibly disappointed. Boston Pizza clearly has no regard for its patrons, and I strongly recommend anyone considering dining here to think twice. There are plenty of other restaurants where your business will be valued â this is NOT one of them.
