Absolutely fabulous authentic Greek food! Thank you so very much Calliope for a wonderful 49th birthday lunch!! The Saganaki was superb! The appetizer platter for two (shared by three of us) was a perfect blend of tastes; the spicy tomato sauce on the meatballs (delicious dipping pita bread into too) was excellent! The prawns (in garlic butter) and calamari (with red onion) were cooked to perfection (Tender and melt in your mouth)! The Spanakopita was a perfect balance of spinach and feta and seasonings in a beautiful phyllo pastry, and the tzatziki added that perfect garlic flavor to dip the pita bread or calamari in. We were even spoiled with a delectable complimentary baklava for a birthday dessert! Thank you for the best baklava I literally have ever tasted! It was not too sweet, and a perfect blend of cinnamon and nuts and pastry, with just a fine drizzle of honey! The best way to finish a very special birthday lunch! This was a spontaneous find while craving authentic, true to form Greek food And boy oh boy, it did not disappoint. Really amazing food, the server was so sweet and let us stay without even making it known that they close for an hr at 3pm. He even allowed others to enter and sit knowing he would not get his break…. That’s the family owned and dedicated vibe I look for when finding a restaurant.
