The Namaste India. Started and open to the public, since 3rd of July 2020. We dropped by the venue on a Friday and the place was so welcoming. The staff was very attentive and polite. We were accompanied to the table by Prabha who served us. Very knowledgeable of the menu, briefed us. And gave us ample time to decide. We ordered Prawn Biriyani and Tandoori fish, which was a hit. The Biriyani Rice was cooked to so much perfection, felt so fresh from the 1st bite. The mint and the tamarind chutney was definitely a taste enhancer, which was given with the biriyani. The prawns were so nice and big, juicy and cooked and mixed with rice and the quantity was amazing. The Tandoori Fish was served in a hot sisling skillet was so tempting. Nicely presented. The aroma was spreading all-around. The char boiled marks were kept perfectly and the fish was cooked correct, not over done, nice and Moist. The Owner Mr. Kulwant Singh, was very attentive as he walked on to our table, introduced himself, warmly welcomed us to the venue. Very pleasant personality including his wife. Thank you for the Mango-Lasi, it was an ideal refresher at the proper time. My wife and myself both admired their company and definitely want to complement the Chef who involved in preparation of of our amazing food. The chef Mr. Lokendra Rank gave us such memorable food experience, that we would never forget and there's no doubt the food was excellent and we both kindly requested to keep and maintain the standard of the Service and especially the quality of food.... Thank you once again for the great experience.

This 1 star is only for the girls on floor who served us rather the food was just wastage of money. We Ordered food at about 8.15 p.m and had to wait for approximately 50 mins before our order actually started to show up. My kid was so hungry. Sorry kid.🧒 We ordered chicken Tawa chicken masala and Tandoori chicken but it was so much yakkiieè 🤮🤮🤮as onions and chicken🐓 was under cooked. No salt, and everybite we got little chunks of chicken bones🦴 that made it even worst. Only raita ,naan and salad were good but without any sort of yummy gravy what is the use of all these? Worst food I ever ate so far. We were told that actual chef had urgent work and had to take a day off, but ss a customer we paid full amount .they need to hire professional chefs and shouldn't alow xyz to cook and serve customers. We also work hard .

It’s our first time eating at an Indian Cuisine Buffet. The whiff of strong mixture of spices and curry smell welcomed us as we stepped into the restaurant. Food was serve on chafing trays but not all the food stayed warm. They do have many different types of dishes… butter chicken, fish pakora, chicken curry, dal makhni, chicken tikka, biryani rice, spring rolls, fried samosa, chicken pakora, tandoori chicken, garlic naan, lachha paratha, gulab jamun (my favourite), fruits, mixed salad and etc (I guess the daily buffet menu varies depending on what food they serve that day). Food tasted ok and not overpowering with too much spices. They do need to improve on their service and keep the tables clean as soon as the customers leave. So far, it was an ok experience for us.

Jan 24, 2025,

Update review on buffet, again somewhat quality is good, but very very poor customer service. I have give lot more business to this place. I been there many time. I understand that I’m not VIP, but I’m still a customer. If customer means nothing to the business, you are doing it wrong, I have had a really bad customer experience today which makes me leave this review. I felt like I don’t exist when there. Will never go back as the overall experience was not good. Further to add that bot owner’s son and other staff made made fell that I do not add any value to the the business as a single individual (which hurted me the most and levee the premises right away- to make sure I payed, I left aprox $70 in cash - even I did not get full buffet) I also felt owner’s son was rude as he did not provide good costumer service to de-escalate the issue. His response was ok, you can leave and leave a review (rather than want can I do do to fixg it).

Spoke to owner’s son, he treated me like I (as a customer) mean nothing to the business.

Poor customer service. I have been gone to dine in for both lunch and dinner buffet. No issue for food at buffet. Today, I decided to order takeaway and order 4 item. Picked up my order no issue. Got home (I live near Okotoks which is about 35 to 40 minutes drive), open my order, 1 item was missing (which paid for). I called in and spoke to a female person on the phone, who reviewed my order and offered to refund. She was unable to proceed to refund via machine. I was offered to refund via e-transfer. I provided my email address for the transfer and was informed to receive the refund in about 30 minutes. I waited half an hour, no refund email was received. Called in again and I was informed that manager is busy talking order as he will be sending the refund. I was again informed that refund will be processed in about half an hour. Again, no refund email was received. Called in after 40 minutes. This time I spoke to the manager who ensured that he is sending money as soon as the call is disconnected. As for timeline, I picked my order at around noon. The calls took placed between 1 and 3pm. Now is almost 7:15pm. 5 hours after, there is still no refund. At this moment, I not looking to get anything and it’s not about money anymore. As being disappointed as this was our family’s Sunday lunch, we were all looking to enjoy our meal which was ruined by this experience as first staff was not careful to pay attention, secondly after I called few times there was no follow ups. Mistakes happen and can be corrected and forgotten. But experience like this will never be forgotten as I felt that both staff and manager did not care and thought they could get away with this. I was offered to go to restaurants to pick it up missing item, but as a customer who live 40 minutes away, just to go pickup 1 thing that your staff made mistake is not fair in my opinion. A very poor customer service and poor management as simple issue are not being addressed on timely manner and professionally. If you are going to treat your customer like they do not matter, I don’t think this the right place to spend your hard...

Title: A Gastronomic Journey at Namaste Food Buffet Restaurant

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Namaste Food Buffet Restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere.

The buffet spread at Namaste Food is a true feast for the senses. The variety and quality of dishes available were simply outstanding. From traditional Indian delicacies to international favorites, there was something to please every palate. The buffet offered an extensive selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts, ensuring that no craving went unanswered.

The flavors of the dishes were exceptional. Each item was expertly prepared, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The spices were perfectly balanced, allowing the true essence of Indian cuisine to shine through. Whether it was the aromatic biryanis, the flavorful curries, or the delectable tandoori specialties, every dish was a delightful journey of taste.

What impressed me the most was the freshness of the ingredients used. The vegetables were crisp, the meats were tender, and the flavors were vibrant. It was evident that the restaurant takes great pride in sourcing high-quality ingredients to create their dishes.

The presentation of the buffet spread was visually appealing. The dishes were beautifully arranged, reflecting the attention to detail and the artistic touch of the culinary team. It added an extra element of excitement and anticipation as I explored the various options available.

The service at Namaste Food Buffet Restaurant was exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist. They ensured that the buffet stations were well-stocked, and the tables were promptly cleared. The restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.

The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The spacious seating arrangements allowed for a relaxed dining experience, even during peak hours. The lively atmosphere, coupled with soft Indian music playing in the background, created a pleasant environment to enjoy the meal.

The value for money at Namaste Food Buffet Restaurant is remarkable. The price of the buffet was reasonable, considering the wide variety of dishes available and the high quality of the food. It is an excellent option for those looking to indulge in a satisfying and flavorsome dining experience without breaking the bank.

In conclusion, Namaste Food Buffet Restaurant is a culinary gem that deserves high praise. From the diverse and delicious buffet spread to the attentive service and inviting ambiance, every aspect of the dining experience was exceptional. Whether you are a fan of Indian cuisine or simply enjoy exploring new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit.

I look forward to returning to Namaste Food Buffet Restaurant to embark on another gastronomic adventure. Hats off to the entire team for their dedication to providing an unforgettable dining...

So this is the worst place ever, bad food and bad hospitality. The owner was so hesitant to serve us and told us they can’t let us use more than 3 plates( we paid for the buffet and thought it’s unlimited). Then we asked for extra naan, owner said “I just gave u naan”. we said we need more and he gave us weird looks and took forever to bring two more naan. Then we went to take sweets and the same guy was so weird that when I asked him to give me extra he said that’s too much for now(seriously!!, I’m paying for the buffet). Finally when we were eating gulab jamun and jalebi, we couldn’t eat more than a bite. Jalebi was stale and was stinking and gulab Jammu was dark brown and burnt from inside so we just left the plate on the side. We then asked for water which we were doing the 3rd time because they forgot to serve us water. Same guy came, looked at the plate and said “that’s why I wasn’t giving u extra because now look what u guys did, u wasted our food”. OH MY GOODNESS, the audacity of this guy amazed me to a level that I couldn’t sit there anymore. I stood up and said it’s burnt and the reply he gave me was so funny, he said “it’s NANAK”. Like seriously ??? What did u guys make? Frozen snacks and sweets.Right after that my son started crying saying something bit him and the cherry on top was that ANT on his arm. Damn, garbage place, garbage food and garbage people. Plz never ever go there, they insult u for eating food which u paid for. They insult u for asking more food and then when ur kid cries because he got bit by the ANT, they say “oh maybe the Ant was already on him” when we showed them the whole bunch of those ANTS on the wall next to us, they had no answer. We literally paid for something we didn’t eat, got insulted. They should shut down their business. Meanest people working there especially that guy who had no manners to say sorry...
