Nobody in line in front of me when I came in. The counter lady was pleasant and took my order no problem.
Five minutes of waiting: overhear conversation behind counter about how pearls will be another ten minutes. Was not informed of this when ordering. How does a bubble tea house let itself run out of pearls?
Ten minutes of waiting: first two drinks appear. Waiting on third. Some people who must have ordered before I arrive finally get their drink. Nobody told them, they just came up to the counter and started checking drinks.
Fifteen minutes of waiting: I figure the people making the drinks must be the owners, because any employees this slow would be fired. Guy leaves drink in lid machine that might be mine, walks away to start another.
Two minutes later, I ask the cashier if she can check if that's mine as that's all I need to leave. She checks and it ISN'T. Asks the guy making. My last drink is an empty cup sitting on a far counter. He's two orders ahead and yet strangely nobody after me is getting drinks before me weird.
Twenty minutes of waiting: last drink finally appears. Weak apology from poor counter girl taking the hit for the bad backend service.
Get to car, wife informs me her milk Pearl tea has no pearls and tastes like it's half condensed milk. My strawberry slush, regular sugar, is melting my teeth it's so sweet, even compared to Gongcha.
Not going back. If we're going to drive ten minutes and wait twenty, we might as well drive twenty downtown and wait five for something better tasting in Chinatown.
Highly suggest you do the same. At least wait until summer before going. They might have their act...

Just went for a visit to give it another chance. We initially stopped going here as order errors and slow speeds plagued our experiences. And while the speed and error issues seem to have been handled, customer service and experience is mediocre at best. Staff that takes your order does not speak into the mic clearly, as well, general tone and facial/body language suggest that they don't want to deal with customers. No smiles, no polite acknowledgment, just a blank stare until someone decides to speak up. That and the drinks were "ok" to disappointing.
I don't recommend this location any longer, save your money and get a proper BBT experience elsewhere.
Decor wise, it's not as refined as some other locations, but I'm sure it will change over time. Service was a little slower but I'm chalking that up to opening woes, and I'm sure it will improve.
Parking is plentiful, and the facilities are well kept. Prices and selection are on par with other Bubble tea places in the city. A great place to bring the family when they get the bubble tea urge. Also a great spot to have a desert after eating at Silver...
Read moreThis will be my last time going here! We entered the store and before the door even closed behind me, the server started shouting at me asking if I was ready or not. I told I needed a sec. She picked up a phone call in the meantime and proceeded to yell at the customer on the phone about how she is SO busy and he will just have to call back. Didn’t take his name or number. If that was me, I would have no called back! She could have put him on hold for a sec to take our order and then gone back.
I made my order and I specifically asked for matcha with no red bean because I had it last time and didn’t enjoy the red bean. She insisted that it wouldn’t be good without it and that’d she blend it up really good so there was no whole bean.
We waited almost 20 minutes for two regular sized bubble tea which was sitting there for a sec before I realized it was there and went up to the counter. They didn’t call our number or anything. I leave and instantly get a mouth full of red bean.
If your staff can’t handle your store, just close it or put a sign on the door that you’re busy with skip and takeout orders and can’t handle walk in customers. I would have asked for my money back if I didn’t think that’d be even more frustration. I don’t need to go somewhere and spend my money to feel like I’m inconveniencing the people that work there. I was made to feel...
