Chicago Deep Dish Pizza - Calgary's Original — Restaurant in Calgary

Been going tot he 14st Downtown location for years. ALWAYS have had GREAT service from them since I pick up. The large Sqaure pizza is always heavy telling me that they add LOTS of Ham and pepperoni...my Fav. I tried the Chicago deep dish in Red deer a few times....not as good as the 14 street location in calgary. Now that I have move deeper south...I'll be trying the Midnapore location...plzplzplzplzplz be just as good if not better than my old location...

The midnapore.location is absolutely fantastic! My usually game and pepperoni that I ordered 2 weeks back was fantastic. I brought in my little 4 year old daughter and the owners treated her to a can of orange crush! It was SO thoughtful of them!!

Chicago deep dish has a forever customer.....

Never ceases to amaze me...The Superhot large 15 inch pizza extra spicey ordered today...weighing in at almost 3kg!! Best Pizza EVER!!!! Always great to see the owner inside the shop. She listens to my sadness about my Ex getting married today and I needed thier pizza for comfort food. This place goes beyond 10/10....

Its been at least 6 months since I have purchased a pizza here....today...well....they went ABOVE and BEYOND!!

My ham and peperoni Pizza ordered at 4pm by me personally....WOWZER!! These people can make a PIZZA!!!

I keep coming back....Best....Pizza....EVER!!!!!

I was at the SE location Midnapore at 4:00pm opening...ordered my large Ham and Pepperoni...and of course....they NAILED it. I always look for forward to this fantastic pizza!!! Was NOT greasy at the least! Greasy pizza has a thick shine on top of the cheese....this pizza was MATTE color...no shine or glitter...just melt in your mouth goodness! I look forward to the next time I order!!! Cheers! Keep up the...

Ordered 1 pizza and a lasagna for delivery. Representative on the phone took my order, quoted me 45 minutes to 1 hour for delivery. After 1hr15 minutes surpassed, I called to check up on the order. The same representative answered the phone and told me that the order had left and the delivery driver had 2 orders to drop off before they got to me. Should be there soon. Another 20 minutes goes by I call again. Same representative answers again, says to call him when the delivery driver gets to my house and he will discount the order (why he cant call his own delivery driver to tell him this, I don't know). Another 15 minutes surpasses and finally the driver arrived. I asked the driver what took him so long and he said he left the store 20 minutes prior. I proceeded to call for the discount and left it on speaker as it was my phone that we were using for this call. The delivery driver has a conversation with the store rep. Tells him whatever he tells him for cost and asks him to confirm that there was no lasagna with the order. Delivery driver confirmed. I told them that I am not paying I don't want the order and will not order again. It took 2 hours to prepare the meal and drive 6 minutes (google maps driving ETA) from their location to my house to tell me that half the order is missing. I only order 2 items. No apology. I hung up the phone. As I left my phone number, I never did receive a call to simply apologize. Seems like the attitude is that I was the problem in this situation for calling to check where the order was. Would not recommend if you expect any sort of...

I had Pizza from this location in the past and their pizza was okay (not the best but not bad). However, because of an experience I had yesterday (May 24, 2019) when I was not a customer, I will not be ordering from this place again due to the thuggish behaviour of the staff working there. Yesterday, i was picking up my daughter from the Karate School beside the Pizza place and i parked in front of their restaurant. There was no signs that said Chicago Deep Dish customers only and plenty of parking for their customers around the strip mall. When i came out, the staff blocked my car in as well as another father who was also picking up their child from karate. The man who work at the pizza place then swore at me and the other dad in front of our children and told us that we should park somewhere else and that he will move the car when he gets an order. Fortunately, other parents were walking out of the karate school to witness this and then he decided to move his car. I won’t be getting pizza here because with staff willing to block someone and not let them go (is that considered confinement?), i don’t know what he would do to my food if he perceived that i was rude to him when ordering a pizza. The pizza i ordered in the past was okay to begin with so not a great loss in not buying from this establishment. If you condone this thuggish behaviour, then support this...
