Great new location for Korean fried chicken! This recently opened restaurant is a small spot next to the Harvest Hills T&T that serves some tasty and freshly made chicken. You get the usual choices here, with bone-in or boneless chicken combos which come in a number of different sauces such as soy garlic and spicy variants. The chicken is quite crunchy and juicy, soft and hot. It’s made fresh so wait times tend to be a little longer than you might expect (~15-25 minutes), but I’d say it’s worth it for some fresh thighs and drumsticks! The staff are friendly and the interior is clean with a few tables for dining in. Parking can be hard to find at times due to this restaurant’s proximity to T&T but the parking lot is quite big anyway. Good prices and value for money in my opinion as well. Highly recommend this location if you’re craving some crunchy and saucy...

Got half chicken of shallot and yangyeom. The pieces are much smaller than Wow chicken, but then again, the prices are cheaper here. Hubby and I personally like the shallot sauce more at Wow chicken because of the slight Wasabi taste, but it's not bad. The yangyeom I thought was too strong in ginger taste but my hubby who loves ginger liked it more than Wow chicken yangyeom. The radish I thought had a strong ginger taste too but my hubby preferred the radish here more. All in all, it's not terrible, but I do think I like Wow chicken better but I do like the price of Chiko Chicken. Also, the large size of radish was out by 4 30 pm. They should really prepare ahead since it wasn't even dinner time and...

The best from the west. Noticed this chain of Korean fried chicken in Vancouver when were there last summer. Finally made it here to YYC.

I always say, competition is always healthy, not like we need more Korean fried chicken in Calgary where there's like one in very plaza.

I like BB.Q chicken, but I have to say, Chicko chicken is comparable or even better. Their fried batter is perfect, their soy sauce and sweet spicy sauce was perfect.. settle in your stomach quite well.. higher quality than most places..

Too bad this place doesn't have a larger sit down type of eating that would be perfect for large gatherings. Wish there was more on the menu to order..

Excellent food,...
