Saigon Perarl is a solid option for a decent Vietnamese lunch. It is a fairly large restaurant with a nice relaxed ambiance and lots of booth options. Service is usually fairly quick and friendly too.

I usually opt for their vegetarian curry, which I love (it has a delicious sauce, served with rice and lots of veggies) however this time we wanted to try their peanut sate pho.

I ordered the small, which is definitely quite small in size - it was perfect for my level of hunger, but just keep that in mind if you are very hungry. The pho had a very light hint of peanut flavour, and just one or two little specks of peanut which I found very disappointing. I love a lot of peanut flavour and pieces in peanut sate! It was very spicy - I didn't need to add any extra sriracha. The flavour of the broth was good, nothing spectacular but still tasty. The noodles were cooked well and there was a decent amount of meat added.

All in all it was ok, but I think I will stick with the veggie curry the next...

CeliacDO NOT ORDER FROM HERE*

Zero rating if I can, not considerate of people with allergies!

We dine-in and ordered delivery from here before however, the order that came yesterday look different than what it was. We ordered the same thing every time. The chicken used to be flavourful, it was like heaven to know it is not plain chicken with no sauce, but last night, it was plain chicken .

I spoke with the staff and manager, despite the effort of putting a note that we are celiac and must be gluten free, they confirmed the sauce used on the chicken is not gluten-free. All these time we have been glutened, the symptoms were not severed to cause too much pain but the damage is done.

They even admited their kitchen staff is not well-educated of what...

The establishment is quite far from being considered a pearl. We have oredered the spring rolls as an appetizer. They were served with the fish sause, the sause had an overstaying smell, and the rolls were exibiting the strange odour as well. I was even surprising to see how little of it was served with it.We had waited for the main course for almost 40 minutes, eventhough there were only three tables occupied by other customers. When the dish was delivered, tha taste was blunt. As I wanted to fimish my meal, one of the staff members approached my sister -in-law and stated that either we calm our child down , a one year old girl, or we leave the place. I only wish that the waitress would have more patience with her...

I wanted to try something a little different without getting something too heavy. I decided on Bún Tôm, Thịt Nướng 烤肉蝦檬Prawns & Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl! It’s was $16.75, but when you call for pick up they give you a 15% discount! This process was super easy and staff friendly. On my way home, I unfortunately got rear ended. I was unable to eat this food naturally hot because of this. When I finally did eat it, I was pleased with the portion size. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the shrimp as they seemed to be deep fried rather than fried. But it tasted decent nonetheless.

A 3 - 3.5. large amounts of space to dine in. The service was relatively quick. Lots of food options that average around $12-15. My main gripes were that the vermicelli was cut up into tiny strands and the meat portion and vegetable portions were not well balanced with the meal. The overall quantity was mediocre compared to other spots. Spring rolls were good and given the option of meat or veggie. Flavour of food on a whole was decent - they do ensure to give you a large container of fish sauce. It's all just an ok spot if you have the itch for a craving.
