Iâd like to rate 0 star if I could. I didnât drink Coco for a long time as there are many better bubble tea stores in Calgary and their taste is average. Today I thought I should check out whatâs new there and it is a big mistake. I used their smart self-check out kiosk and thought it could streamline the process, place an order of creme brulee milk tea and pearl milk tea at 6:19pm on June 7, then it only asked my name w/o any order number. My boyfriend and I waited in line for 20 mins and seemed they were out of milk tea/tea. Finally i asked if i could get my order after the long wait, and guess what, they couldnât find my order! After another 2min wait, the cashier found it in system and said they could make it within 1 min. No apology at all. So funny! I said no and asked for the refund and being told I could only have cash back of $14.35 and in fact I paid them for $14.37 with my card. Itâs not only about 2 cents, just feel stupid that we paid for 2 cents and wasted our 20mins for nothing. If I didnât ask, we could wait even longer with more disappointment. Finally, the manager agreed to round up to $14.40 cash. The most important thing is that they had no apology at all. I regret to visit this location and will...
Read moreI placed a big order last night via DoorDash. For some reason after 15 minutes, they still haven't confirmed the order. I had special instructions on some of the teas, so I called to make sure they got it. They did, and then they asked about the special instructions to me on the phone, but it did take them a while to understand what I meant. I was a bit annoyed because they only asked me after I called them.
Why didn't they call me if they had questions? What would've happened if I didn't call to check on them?
Thankfully they got all the special instructions correctly and the teas were deliveted so that was good.
My special instructions was "please do not put fruity bits in the tea." I've been a regular with Coco for years but in the last year, they started putting fruity bits into their fruit teas. They're not even the right fruit for the tea, more like fruity bits from those fruit cups? This Coco isn't the only one doing it so it must be a new recipe from their head office. Gonna straight up say that I ain't a fan of the fruity bits đ
Anyways, thank you for accommodating...
Read moreLocated beside T&T mall up in the North it's a nice place that serve bubbletea among other cold beverages. I'm not 100% sure if they serve warm/hot tea but regardless to quench your thirst it's a really great place! It's moderately priced and you do get enough of a selection to choose from. I'm not huge fan on what feels like 1000 flavors to choose from which other places give out but I feel CoCo has enough selections that you don't feel rushed in looking at all their flavors. Especially when the line up behind you starts to grow. After a few times going here you have a decent idea of what they have and what you want and at the same time figure out if you want to try something new. Anyway the service is great, following protocols, the people there in general are respected and considerate. I would highly recommend this place for beginners in the bubbletea market before advancing to the stores that have 1000 flavors to...
