Great experience, encore!!

After four months of lunch at Raj Palace North, we drove all the way from Crowfoot area to Raj Palace North for lunch with some invited friends. The reason for driving that far was to enjoy the same wonderful experience that we had previously.

Once again, it was the same great experience. They are very consistent in their high quality of tasty food and service.

Their naans and rava dosas were light and crispy, not greasy, These were the best, after trying them at several restaurants in A B and BC. It was a very tasty meal.

The service by Deepak was attentive and courteous as before. The food was served course by course and hot. Deepak patiently answered our questions about the food. Thanks Deepak.

Restaurant is small but there is plenty of room between the tables. The utensils and the plates were absolutely clean and shining. Washrooms were clean with all necessities available.

All of us had a wonderful time and will return with our out of town family when they visit.

Nov-2021 Today five of us drove to the restaurant which is not in our neighborhood after reading the awesome reviews. Deepak was our host and he very efficiently took care of our orders and provided with a friendly service. Our friends who are seniors were very pleased with his service. Deepak is courteous and communicates very well. He worked hard to make sure all other patrons were also being served at the same time. Thank you Deepak. I had one of the worst dining experiences with Raj Palace, and I feel compelled to warn others before they make the same mistake. This restaurant not only engages in shady business practices but also completely disregards basic food safety standards.

First, let’s talk about their ridiculous policy of charging extra for takeout cutlery. I placed an order expecting a smooth experience, but when I went to pick it up, I was told that I had to pay extra just to get basic utensils. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere in advance, making it feel like a hidden scam to squeeze more money out of customers. A restaurant that can’t provide something as simple as cutlery without extra fees clearly has no respect for its patrons.

But the real nightmare began when I got home and opened my food. To my absolute disgust, I found a wrapper inside my meal—a blatant health and safety violation that should never happen in any food establishment. This is completely unacceptable and dangerous, as it shows that Raj Palace has zero hygiene standards in their kitchen. It makes you wonder what else they are carelessly tossing into their food.

When I called to report this serious issue, I was met with indifference and rudeness from their staff. They offered no apology, no compensation, and simply brushed it off as if it was no big deal. This level of negligence is appalling, and frankly, this place should be inspected by health authorities before someone gets seriously sick.

Between the hidden charges, unhygienic food, and terrible customer service, Raj Palace is an absolute disgrace. If you value your health and your money, stay far away from this place. There are plenty of other restaurants that actually care about their customers—this is certainly not...
