Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in Calgary

So disappointed. Had the spicy chicken sandwich. The first one had a beetle in it. Got an expired $5 coupon for compensation that can only be used at this location despite other locations written on it.

Then got another one…Hardly any toppings on it. Soggy and barely toasted one side. Not spicy at all. Was told there was chipotle ranch spread on it but no where to be seen. The mushroom chowder was super watery with hardly any taste.

The quesadillas was dry with hardly any cheese and again barely toasted with the tortilla cut roughly with broken pieces.

Finally the salad portion and the peanut dressing didn’t really taste like peanuts and was very sweet. I was much smaller than other places and tasted different.

Much better experience at Heritage and...

I placed an online order for pickup yesterday, unfortunately every item we ordered had a mistake. We know there’s new ownership but we were very disappointed in the quality of our meals. For $45 … not impressed. We would have brought it back however we didn’t realize until we brought the items home after a longgggg day of travel.

I contacted the restaurant and they provided us with 3 complimentary meals to make up for the errors on our last visit.

I submitted another online order since then and it came out perfect, loaded salad with lots of toppings. They made things right after their mistake and were consistent on...

The Bangkok bowl with chicken gave me food poisoning. It was delicious at the time but I became ill shortly after finishing it.

Previously, I'd sworn off the 130th location after ordering from Skip and discovering no sauce in my wrap.

Maybe I dodged a bullet since this visit in Mahogany, I odered extra sauce on my Bangkok bowl? I'm uncertain which ingredient made me ill.

Regardless, I'm avoiding all locations of Chopped Leaf from now...
