By far the strangest restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Picture this:
Recently visited The Mash with my wife. Arrived around 920pm, there was no one to greet and seat us – it seemed busy, no big deal. After minutes of waiting and not knowing if anyone was working except the bartenders, we asked a bartender if we could seat ourselves. We were told yes so we chose a table on the sidewalk patio. There were 4 tables left on the patio and all were dirty with plates/glasses, or haven’t been wiped since the last people left. Regardless, thought the patio was nice and they even allow dogs – more on this later.
After another 5min, a server came to ask if we had been helped or ready to order - we had a long time to look so we were ready. After telling her what beer we wanted, she interrupted to ask if we liked fruit beers. We do, so she mentioned a few before, mid-sentence, said she’d be right back. 5min later she came back with samples, spoke with us while we tried them, but left again before we were done, leaving us unable to place an order.
She returned minutes later and we said we were ready to order beer and pizza. My wife ordered the beer she originally wanted while I asked for one of the samples - I liked them all. We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken, she replied by telling us that the Dill Pickle and Bacon pizza was their best seller and we had to try it. We were intrigued but not interested but she insisted and said she was going bring one for free. Great! It was at this time that we asked her to wipe our table. She seemed embarrassed and ran off to find something to clean up with. It was now 935pm
A few minutes later, she returned with beer but nothing to wipe the table. We asked again for her to wipe our table and she again ran off to find something. She came back shortly, was about 5ft from our table, sprayed the clothe to wipe the table, but again was distracted by something else and left. Genuinely shocked and interested at this point, we watched her carry a spray bottle and clothe around the restaurant while visiting other tables, she even stepped outside, bottle and clothe in hand, to chat with one of the bartenders having a cigarette break right outside the main entrance. We thought at some point she would realize what’s in her hands and come back to wipe our table. Nope. When she came back inside, she proceeded to the bar, placed the bottle and clothe on the bar, continued to get talk with people at the bar and other tables, and forgot all about us. Amazed, we wondered how long it was going to continue. She then came to tend to the table next to us, pet their dog, take another beer order and deliver that order by holding the beer from the top of the glass without washing the hands she used to pet their dog.
It was now 945pm, and 10min since we asked her to wipe our table. She finally came back, asked if we were liked the beer, which we were, but we again had to ask her to wipe our table. Realizing that we've asked a few times already, she let out a frustrated groan and left to grab the spray bottle and clothe. We've now been sitting for 20min.
Just before 10pm, which is when I thought bars and restaurants had to stop serving food and drinks during COVID (I could be wrong), she came back to ask us to remind her what kind of pizza we ordered - she didn't enter the order yet? After reminding her and without a word, she turned to go enter the order at the bar - I guess the kitchen was still open.
When the pizza did come, she asked if we want another round - I guess the bar was still open. I didn’t notice if she dropped them off by holding the top of the glass like she did at the table next to us.
All in all, we actually enjoyed the pizza and beer and will likely go again, and they did take the beer off the bill, but the service was so incredibly terrible. We don't usually review restaurants but agreed that we couldn't possibly give it more...
Read moreWe were happy to have found this pizza joint, with their unique topping combinations and craft beer - until a few bad experiences. It's really too bad, because we had been telling everyone we know about them. Twice we tried ordering for supper, only to not be able to get through by telephone, or by online ordering. Online, we'd get all the way through the order process right to the payment screen, only to get a message saying they weren't accepting orders at this time. HUH? I was super happy they've been busy, but not taking orders? I'd have preferred to have been told there was a 90 minute wait, but still take my order! And the phone just kept going to voicemail, even with 3 of us trying to get through. It's obvious they're not equipped to handle very much take out. Okay. So the day after the second time we couldn't get through, I called in at 4 pm with our order for a 6 p.m. pickup, a few pizzas and a Caesar salad. I arrived at 5:50, our pizzas were already sitting on top of the pizza oven, but the salad wasn't ready. They put that together, and away we went. We got home, the salad was literally a bunch of chopped up lettuce, two wedges of lemon, and two containers of salad dressing - no croutons, no bacon, no cheese. The pizza seemed like it had already been sitting there for a 1/2 hour, not fresh at all. I sent them an email more than a week ago now, letting them know of our disappointment, with no response. So now I make my review public, because we won't be back. And that's really too bad, because when the pizza is fresh and the salad has all the ingredients it's supposed to, they really have a winner. But customer service is everything, and they are...

Heard of this place on am770 so we thought we'd give it a chance, what a mistake.... Ordered two 10 inch pizzas and a large caesar salad, total cost was $67.35. Both pizzas were flavorless and pretty much all crust with very little toppings. The large "$16" caesar salad was more of a side salad for a child. Half of it was missing and some of the lettuce was rotten. When we called the location to ensure we received the right size of salad, the person who answered the phone said they didn't personally make it so they couldn't speak to the size of the salad that we received, but a large salad is 8oz of lettuce. Well we weighed it, 5.2oz with dressing. The customer service was terrible when calling in, although we were offered a small salad on the house if we decided to dine in on another occasion. We definitely do not recommend.
One bite everybody knows the rules.... 2.1....

All information that was requested was provided along with pictures... So far no one has responded to the concerns and With the way my wife was talked to on the phone originally this isn't really...
