Club Rendezvous — Restaurant in Calgary

The staff is super friendly, but this place isn't for us. Made us feel like awkward first timers to the lifestyle, we are frequents at Aquarius in Winnipeg and strongly prefer that.

First things first, there are no showers there, that's what dropped it back to the one star, sorry staff, I love you guys, but that's gross.

In comparison; the lack of individual rooms doesn't give you a chance to decompress, or get ready, we also don't like that if we brought our toys, we would have to carry the bag around with us, vs locking it in a private room.

The club environment also isn't for us, so there isn't any time to warm up to the place, either. Comparatively the play room is small and cramped, I'm always awkwardly shifting passed people.

We were told that Calgary has an amazing lifestyle scene and club R was the place to be. If this is what Calgary has to offer, I'm disappointed.

Lots of beautiful women downstairs, but neither of us are for the club scene, given that we were there for my birthday, and to fulfill a fantasy of my girlfriend for me to have an orgy with women that didn't quite work.

I fully recognize that this is personal preference and plenty of people love this, but anyone like the two of us won't enjoy it at all. Just an honest review, might be five stars for most people but it was an honest one for the experience for me. The staff give it...

I had my first experience at the club about two years ago. When we got there, there was a show going on however due to the tunnel layout of the initial part of the space, we could not see anything. That was a bit disappointing but we gave it another shot on a regular night. I’ve had nothing but great experiences there since that time 2 years ago. I’ve even gone on my own and had a great time meeting new and welcoming people. I always feel safe because they can see every member who’s in the club at all times, no funny business. In my personal experience the owners are friendly, inclusive, welcoming and take any accusations seriously and respond appropriately. I see how hard they work 24/7 to keep the club to the excellent standards they have in place. I find this club is also super clean, unlike other clubs I have visited in the city. The drinks are reasonably priced and the resident bartender can whip you up all kinds of things. I usually ask her to make me a cocktail to cover the booze taste and she nails it everytime! Thanks to club rendezvous I have made some life long friends and great memories and will continue to frequent the club.

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about Club Rendezvous ❤️ The staff who work there are beyond amazing. They go out of their way to make sure that all members, guests, and newbies feel safe and comfortable. The cozy and laid back atmosphere puts you at ease. Especially for those new to the scene. Drink prices are very reasonable. The patrons who attend the events are friendly and non-judgmental. Derek, the resident DJ spins awesome music! I know myself, and many others can't turn away from the dance floor when you have the top hits from the early 80's to current running through your veins. The music helps make you feel weightless and free. Let's you want to indulge yourself with everyone and everything Club R has to offer.
