Just opened our seasonly restaurant for the second summer!! Last year we found Crown online after a desperate search for equipment and advice on what was presently in our kitchen!! When we walked in... OMG, we were acknowledged RIGHT away with a "Good morning, how are you guys and let us know if we can answer any questions!" Craig is a kind, gentle, knowledgeable, soul who saw frustration in our faces and made purchasing easy!! We were soon in need of bigger equipment and that's when Randy appeared on the scene!! He spent time with us and guided us with bigger items we required!! Randy has a wealth of knowledge that can be tapped into with one phone call!! The staff at Crown give old fashion customer service!! Yes folks, a thing of the past!! Just love Nick the owner...from the neck up, besides good looks, he has over 40 years in the restaurant industry!! My husband & I were in the store today to pick up yet another piece of equipment!! These guys now call us by name...we feel blessed to have found Crown Restaurant...

We go there almost every month. Just recently we spent over 40k there. They just do not know how to value their regular customers. They took a deposit for fixing a blender and informed us that the deposit is reusable for new purchase if you dont like the quote. They quoted me after 10 mins and said its not fixable. When we decided to garbage it and got parts for another puchase,they refused to use the deposit saying it could only be used if we bought a new blender. Spoke to the manager and She just said SORRY SIR, MY GUYS DONT WORK FOR FREE. Excuse me Mam, we DONT BUY STUFF FOR FREE from your store too. In just one year we spend almost 65000 thousand dollars in your store as we openned 2 new stores. Even if they wanted to charge for labour they could charge for 10 mins as they called me exactly after 10mins. Come on guys stop stealing money from your loyal customers by using the word...

Crown is a Calgary food scene staple and has been providing restaurants with the goods for decades. We've been buying equipment and supplies for our restaurants at Crown for over 10 years and it's always been a great store to get everything we need. They stand behind their products as well. We bought a panini grill a little over a year ago that needed a piece replaced. After disassembling a floor model to see how we could fix my grill, Nick didn't just replace the part, he replaced the entire grill without hesitation. We were back in business without delay, and that's the kind of excellent customer service that will keep us coming back for many more...
